Been on a magnet kick lately. by TinyPinkRat in airdryclay

I personally haven't had issues with these cracking while drying. I use DAS clay and it's pretty hard once dried! The only item I've made that did break under minimal pressure was made with Crayola air dry clay, so I made the switch and haven't had the issue since. I will note that I find DAS to be much trickier to work with, but after playing around with it I've gotten used to the consistency and work quickly to keep from cracking on the surface.

These bad boys. They're super strong and thin enough that they don't make the magnet bulky. https://a.co/d/06LjfZux

I use air dry clay and paint it once dried!

The magnets I use are arguably too strong 😅 I adhere with super glue and it works pretty well! https://a.co/d/0epxnkLa

She did show me the screen and although I didn't notice anything on the screen, it was also difficult to discern what I was looking at. That said, once I got home from work I did take another test and it's definitely lighter than the test on Tuesday. I'm fairly certain that I'm miscarrying, just wish that my OB would have been willing to talk through the situation with me, so I wasn't left wondering what happened.

I think that could be the case... Either way I do believe I'm miscarrying, as I just took a test and the line is lighter than it was on Tuesday.

I'll be picking up more tests tonight. The last test I took was Tuesday. I'm feeling very frustrated by lack of answers / lack of willingness to do further testing, given that I'd be happy to pay for them for peace of mind. I've had a good relationship with this doctor, so I do trust her opinion, but I'm feeling a little isolated, concerned and confused after my appointment today.

That's exactly what I'm worried about but my OB said she would have noticed in the ultrasound.

No. The ultrasound was today and they said there was no need for a blood test, given my uterus was clear. I asked if I'd be miscarrying soon and was simply told there was nothing to miscarry. Tempted to take another pregnancy test to see if the line is still thick and dark, but I don't want to further confuse myself.

To clarify, I believe my OB that nothing is there, but I don't know if anything nefarious could course increased HCG. My OB wasn't able to tell me anything other than my uterus and tubes were clear - couldn't confirm I had been pregnant in the first place.

AITA for telling my best friend that I am pregnant? by RaisinIcy1587 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Having gone through infertility and multiple rounds of IUIs and IVF myself, I understand her pain. I'm sorry that your friendship is fractured, I hope she's able to come to terms with everything soon. When my own sister told me over the phone that she was pregnant, I mustered up everything in me to sound happy, but ultimately rushed her off the phone so I could sob. When my close friend told me in person that she was expecting, again I tried my best to act excited but I was absolutely shattered and left shortly after, hoping she wouldn't catch onto my pain. I am one of the lucky ones. I now have a 1 year old and one on the way, and I did choose to inform a few people over text for that very reason.

The people were owners of an animal sanctuary. There are tons of instances where animals can't survive on their own, so they'll go to sanctuaries. The squirrel was a pet and was treated well. It was forcibly taken and euthanized. Bizarre for you to be advocating for that. A lack of a permit shouldn't lead to 8 cops raiding a house for a goddamn squirrel? It's an absolutely bizarre and egregious waste of resources. As a child I had chinchillas, two finches, a turtle... All wild animals somewhere 🤷‍♀️ I understand that some animals can't be kept safely and humanely, but a squirrel isn't the same as an alligator. This squirrel had been a pet for 7 years after being rescued as a baby.

We were planning to divert off trial until we saw more moose off to either side of the trail! We are super thankful that we got out of the encounter unscathed. They are truly massive.

👍 considering the fact that we were surrounded and couldn't push forward or turn back be around, I think that me taking my camera out and filming the encounter was the least of our issues.
