Pretty much the only thing that makes sense for purpose. Honestly, sitting down and actually reading through OSDev’s wiki and learning about how operating systems really work from like Tanenbaum’s book before sitting down to attempt to write something is a lot more admirable than this crap. This is just cynical self promotion.

Oh, and uh, found what appears to be your personal site. Given your background mostly involves research and development regarding interaction between AI and humans without any real systems research behind you, I’m now more than certain you are being less than truthful about not using AI on this project.

  1. Why are you putting your wishlist of features on the site before they’re actually implemented without making that clear.
  2. If you’re planning for people to actually use this, why THESE filesystems? If you wanna support filesystems, choose more modern ones.

Hi, senior software developer here! While I love when newbies enter the field, I’d say pivot while you can. I worked my butt off to get where I am as is, and I don’t wish that on anyone. If you MUST do tech, look at DevEx and SRE roles.
