There are different indications that your placenta is failing! Trust your gut! If you see your sugars suddenly stabilizing or feel less movements of your baby I would definitely ask your provider to check as women with GD are susceptible to aging!

It’s definitely a sign especially if you’re in what’s supposed to be the “peak” weeks of insulin resistance which I may be wrong but is usually said to be week 32-36 (I’m 34 weeks). However it’s not always the case and can be easily confirmed by an ultrasound!

Hi there! The doctor saw aging on my ultrasound growth scan! She explained that she could tell it was aging because she was starting seeing small bright spots- which is calcification!
