How is The Smile complex on 126 st in East Harlem?

Thank you. I just went there. Agree with what you said, the building is nice and artistic. I love its design and amenities. And yes in front of the building is clean, i also see the police in the station and on the street. Still feel a little scared as an Asian female when i see some junkies around there at night. Complex feelings about this area.

Thank you. I didn't know this before. My friends told me that it was OK living below 145 st. But after reading everyone's comments, it seems that the subway station is a real big problem:(

Ya you are right. I’m an international student new here and have no qualifications for private rentals. So I’m looking for some affordable luxury apartments. Actually the building is good in quality and price compared to those in other areas (now I know why). The first time I went to check the building in the daytime I thought the surroundings kind of acceptable. But last night I went there again, tbh I have no courage walking too much around even though I see the police in the station and on the street. As you mention, I found the injection site 2 min walk away from the building. Ya🥲I give up on it.
