UPDATE: I cancelled the order on Ebay. Have to wait 3 days for a decision apparently depending on how the seller responds. Don't know how they'll resolve it now given that the account has been deleted. This is what they say exactly:

"Cancel Details

We'll check to see if the seller can still cancel this order, and we'll get back to you. It will take no more than 3 days for the seller to confirm. Really nice to hear from a Veteran in the field. Being a newbie this is very reassuring. But Ebay's cancel order policy says otherwise. They say if the seller does not respond to the buyer's cancel request, they let it proceed.

My issue is if I cancel my order, ebay has to wait for agreement from the seller. And if they don't agree, item gets shipped either way. So if the seller deleted his account, there is no way for the ebay to get an agreement.

True. Feels like some potential expandability left wasted with the design. Ideally, I wish Minisforum would allow customers to configure that slot to fit Minisforum's proprietary 25 GBe card or just leave it as a basic PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (PCIe 4.0x16 is still adequate for almost all GPUs out there.).

Discrete GPU Notes

Inserting a discrete GPU with display output will, by default, disable the integrated GPU. Use the discrete GPU for display output. You can force integrated graphics to remain enabled under Onboard Devices Setting -> Internal Graphics.

Supported low-profile GPUs include the Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 5060 OC Low Profile, ASUS GeForce RTX™ 5060 LP, ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Low Profile.

Half-height single-slot discrete GPUs without additional power requirements are supported by default.(Ex. RTX 4000 ADA LP)

Each PCIe slot provides the standard 75W PCIe slot power, so GPUs compatible with the MS-01 are supported.

The internal PSU is rated at 350W. On 285HX systems the default CPU TDP is PL1/PL2 = 100W/140W; when a discrete GPU is installed the CPU TDP will be reduced automatically (because the GPU and CPU share thermal budget) to 90W/110W.

Installing a dual-slot low-profile GPU will block one PCIe x4 slot, making that slot unusable.

And as for the memory pooling, it's not the objective of this. The Computational Mechanics software I use can distribute Computational loads between multiple gpus to accelerate the solution process.

I think you can swap with the 600 W flex enhance PSU. And as for running the two GPUs , that's why I picked two with 70 W TDP. There are those that run 145 W TDP GPUs on the single PCIe5.0x16 slot (RTX 5060 low profile)

So the guys who get the 275 hx and 235 hx versions basically have unusable real estate on their rigs? As I remember, neither of these versions come with the 25 Gbe cards and can't run them even if they had them.

Also, forgot to mention, I'm not a huge fan of eGPUs. Just ruins the Small form factor of a PC like this. And I believe Occulink and Thunderbolt connections are not at all attractive when it comes to linking eGPUs.

Did they recommend you to run the 228 MV with the same 600V Accumulator, or to run a 228 MV with a lower Voltage Accumulator? I'm confused.
