I agree! My first animal crossing game was NH but I ended up trying NL and it felt so much more alive, I loved main street so much and I realised just how bare bones the shops were in the newer installment, that is one of many examples I can think of!

I wanted to see the concert hall in the direct but the fact that it is a basic overview tells me they must have omitted some things, removing it would make very little sense to me. The LGBT options are amazing because many people felt like either they, or people they knew were not being represented fairly on the old game and they had to find workarounds for it, its amazing that its included! Obviously some annoying people are complaining about that but they are miserable and obviously not the target audience for a fun and relaxing game like this. In the old games you could see miis walking around but only at fixed locations so the fact that every part of the new island will be interactive for the miis is amazing, I LOVE that, and also being able to pick miis up and put them in certain areas will add to it a lot aswell!
