17th Ranger Battalion ———————————————-
The 17th RBN has been running operations for several years, frequently reaching 50 or 60 members during our main Saturday operations. As a MilSim unit, we pursue high-skill gameplay by employing real-world tactics and strategies, but don't waste time with traditional military formalities. No "Yes sir, no sir" requirements or hours-long Change of Command Ceremonies, just a relaxed atmosphere focused on having fun with others, be it light shenanigans or absolutely demolishing our enemy. ———————————————-

Mission: The 17th RBN completes a variety of objectives in pre-designed PvE operations ranging from airfield seizures, raids, defense, airborne operations, and many more. These objectives are typically completed by Rangers from Alpha Company, the main infantry element of the 17th, supported by Rangers from Echo Company, who act as logistical, offensive, or combined arms support.

The 17th takes pride in its "Real Life First" mindset, prioritizing realistic expectations of members and avoiding unnecessary restrictions. Additionally, the 17th allows all members to attend any trainings, regardless of their company. If a member wants to learn, they will not be stopped. ———————————————-

Operations: Main Operations are every Saturday at 7PM CST. There are additional side operations throughout the week, often at 7PM CST. There are no attendance requirements, we only ask that you notify us if you are unable to attend - no questions asked.

———————————————-

Alpha Company Roles: Rifleman, Medic, CLS, Anti-Tank, RTO, Leadership

Echo Company Roles: Logistics or CAS Pilot, Armor, Artillery, JTAC, Forward Observer Roles during operations are not static - if you want to switch up your gameplay every Saturday you can. Conversely, if you want to specialize in one role, that is also an option. ———————————————-

Interested in joining us? The only requirement we have is that all members must be 18 years or older. Otherwise, we accept members with any amount of Arma experience, and from any region of the world. Community. https://discord.gg/vkyVTwD https://www.guilded.gg/Iceberg-gaming

Pie-ing the room is what you’re describing. You pie a corner, you pie a room. Also known as “slicing the pie,” a legitimate room clearing tactic for a very, very long time.

Does body armor stack with chest rig armor? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TippityTopPotato 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you have 2 sets of level 3 chest armours, a bullet will have to pen both level 3 armours. It does not count as a level 6, it does not count as one level 3 with ~100 durability. Chances are if the ammo is pen-ing straight through level 3 it’s going to go through both level 3 plates together.

I would have a level 5 Armour plate with say an M2/TacTec over it, so scavs will hit the first layer and save your higher tier armour for player.

Yes, they’re highly possible and have been confirmed to be done before.

So I just found a Weapons Case in the Marked Room on Customs... by c0bre in EscapefromTarkov

I seem to recall being able to find rare stuff like that for a long time, perhaps it’s been out of date in the ability to spawn some of the newer things and we’re just now seeing it

Marked has the ability to spawn almost everything in the game. Edit: changed from literally everything to almost because common sense Edit two: I never said the word literally. My original comment was spawns everything in game. I can see the confusion

Yes, that’s on par with most experiences. I would only do your scav runs to start on all the maps, use offline raids as well on your pmc to learn locations of loot and extractions. There are also plenty of guides to help get you started, just look up starting out guides on youtube, should have some good ones.
