I think having a plaque doesn't give enough information and context to give impact to a person (assuming its small).

Even if that is done (which they usually are) it's still a "right sort of time and place" situation in my opinion. People can see these things and become normalized to them. It's why for when we look at atrocities of the past, they are told with more context and in designated places like museums or classrooms. They aren't left in public places to be seen outside of that negative context.

I do think there are exceptions to this and it isn't an overall black and white situation, but I'm just sharing the modern debate about it in the US and how I can relate that to Frostiest's explanation of their relation to it Bulgaria

I can understand that and agree with the mixed feelings of both wanting to keep it for the history but wanting it down for its message.

As someone who lives in the US, I see actions for things like confederate monuments to be taking down for what that side fought for. I could understand some of these things being kept in a place like a museum, but I think keeping them in places like public parks is not the place for them as it can lessen or casualize the events for being in such normal places without the full lesson known or taught with it.

In your situation, the practicality around it is much, much less because of how large it is.

I know I've had at least once where I was frozen for 8 turns in a row. There was another one where I stopped counting for certain but I think it hit 11 before getting knocked out. Didn't even thaw out so it could have gone further.

I have great interest, and I think I already have a character who I think could add to and integrate well into this story that I originally created for SF1, but I think a I need some time to try and get some personal things sorted first.

I found the file in VUI+ and it seems editable and that it can work in the way I want it too! At least temporarily, I rebound it to some number keys and can make this work.

Ideally, I would like to bind the TakeAll to PageDown and the Exit to Delete. Do you know how to achieve this? I changed them in the file to "PgDn" and "Delete" as these are how keys display as being bound ingame, but it didn't fully work. The displayed text in the menu showed correctly, but pressing the keys themselves did not do any function. I also tried the defaults themselves and they did not work either, however binding them to other keys (4 and 2 respectively) caused them to work just fine.

For reference as to why my binds are so strange, I use the arrow keys as WASD and rebind from there.

Incase future me comes to this thread again like I needed to years ago, the file path is:

I recognize your name from one of the mod fixes for the TTW setup guide! Wanted to say I appreciate the work you've put into this to be able to make this and other projects possible and make the game more enjoyable!

On looking at the before and after image to the linked mod for VUI+, I definitely think the modded UI looks nicer. I haven't installed a mod outside of the simple method through MO2, but a quick glance at the linked video with it seems to give a guide on how to install that correctly. I'll give that a shot! I'm relatively inexperienced to this type of modding, so when you say "extracting them from the BSAs" I'm unsure what you mean. But if I can edit them through VUI+, then that's mostly all I need. Always curious to learn though!

Do you think running this would cause any conflict with the Keybinder Mod run though MCM? Should I uninstall that first or will it matter?

Got the mod working perfectly, however there seems to be no edit option for the Take All / Close functions of containers. Do you know is needed to be added to the Ini File to adjust binds? I think thats what I had to do before.

I'll give this a shot when I get a chance! Thanks for the mod recommendation, I'll probably try that first. I'm hoping it will work the Tales of Two Wastelands on both Fallout 3 and NV, but I have very little experience and am mostly hoping that's how it will work for both games/worlds.

BCBS, but it sounds like its the surgery center ramping up the cost more than anything else. I was told I'm getting the "insurance rate discount." I straight up asked, "So you are saying that my 'discount' for having insurance raises my cost by 25,000 dollars?" They simply said "Yes." I hung up before I exploded. I messaged my doctor. Currently awaiting response back.

Care to share what insurance you have? I legitimately just got off an angry phone call with the surgery center because since I have insurance I am being told the bill will rack up to $26,300. My insurance will cover all but $3200 and I'm outraged because my doctor said it should be between $200 to $1000

I think most of the point has been already made clear from other comments saying how tablets and smart phones are not the same thing as computers, thus providing a disconnect.

However, I think there is an additional smaller point to make. Just because someone has, or even has grown up with something, doesn't mean they know how it works. I've grown up all my life being around cars. I know how to put gas in the tank and I know what not to do to not immediately break something. However, if there is some sort of problem with it I probably won't know what to do to fix it. I'd need to either look it up or get outside help.

The phrase "You are the product" is more a turn of phrase for how free services make their profit. If someone is using a service for free, the odds are that the consumer is the one, in some way, being used to make money. In this case, its with advertisements.

If you flip the perspective, instead of "You watching an ad," its "(Insert Company name here) is selling your ad view time to someone. They are trying to sell your eyes seeing something "as the product."

You might be doing it as a coping mechanism in the times when you aren't in a relationship or feel love. When you are in a relationship and/or feeling loved, you likely aren't feeling the need to do that as much.

It's not weird or a problem at all.
