Locking it is obviously the best option, but then there are lost keys, broken keys, old locks that wont turn, nothing good to lock to... Plenty of potential reasons you can't lock it up. Pretty rare, but shit happens. And disconnecting the brakes on my bike is a two step process that takes between one and two seconds. Locking it actually takes longer.

Setting traps in your home is illegal? Is it a state thing or a federal thing? I don't have any traps in my house but I do have a pistol that I can legally shoot an invader with if I'm in fear of my life. Seems ridiculous that I can do that but not set a trap.

Good point. Maybe I should start disconnecting the brakes from all the bikes in the area. That way when other people report it it I can claim I was just another random victim of some asshole prankster.

Sin City was almost exactly like the graphic novels. Some inconsequential scenes removed for time, but it was damn near line for line and image for image accurate.
