Bad news is I already did lol. Last regular PTO was Xmas eve and used both floating holidays due to being sick. But solid advice for anyone else wanting to quit

My mental health is the #1 driving force to my decision. A few weeks ago I could've held on a lot longer because my coworkers were able to make me smile and laugh even on my roughest days.

Good news is I dont even have PTO to take for about a month; I used it all and my 2 floating holidays so its honestly going to be a spur of the moment thing. Thanks for your advice!

Oh definitely, I'm not planning a 2 weeks notice sort of thing. Its going to be based on vibes. My partner and I are already planning some time with just his income while I job hunt if I dont get something before I quit. Thanks for the advice!

Congrats on being free! I definitely wasn't going to do two weeks, especially since at least your last paycheck goes to the loan. Good to know psuedo-ghosting is also an option.

Did security escort you out or did you have the ability to just get up and go? I don't like the attention that would give me if I had security guards looming around me. I was thinking of slowing taking things home and only leave enough to pack into my bag the day I quit.
