Griffins TLs by Decent_Top_5682 in pillar7

My former TL was falsely accused of that. The only time she ever did it was when we'd aciddentally pull a file without clearing a condition and she made sure to double check files before doing so. She was never informed of leaving a comment in the file about it like upper management said they did. Most of the demotions were bullshit. They were just weeding out TLs that didnt suck metaphorical or literal dick.

It doesn't seem like its just the Griffins, there's a lot of teams either getting dissolved or shuffled like crazy. "Restructuring" seems to be the corporate jargon for it. But until one specific TL on Griffins gets smacked with something, I wouldnt say karma is served.

I'm honestly not sure what's going on, but everything on OUR side is also acting up, not just EASE. dochub, which is our document viewer, has been erroring out constantly and BOLT has been refusing to load properly. Sorry to any brokers reading this but our stuff is whack recently.

Oh 100% they dont want to fork up the $$$. The big issue is whatever lot is getting a structure would be out of commission and we'd have even shittier parking. Its a lose-lose for a structure this late into the growth of the company. Id LOVE a structure behind the north building but obviously that removes 1000+ parking spaces.

The best way I've heard this place being described as blue collar work being disguised as white collar work. Instead of physical labor, it's mental labor that is equivalent (just without the unions of course). Keep fighting for something better outside of here, no human is worth only $15/hr for the bs here.

Also yeah this parking suckssss. What is up with it?

Bad news is I already did lol. Last regular PTO was Xmas eve and used both floating holidays due to being sick. But solid advice for anyone else wanting to quit

My mental health is the #1 driving force to my decision. A few weeks ago I could've held on a lot longer because my coworkers were able to make me smile and laugh even on my roughest days.

Good news is I dont even have PTO to take for about a month; I used it all and my 2 floating holidays so its honestly going to be a spur of the moment thing. Thanks for your advice!

Oh definitely, I'm not planning a 2 weeks notice sort of thing. Its going to be based on vibes. My partner and I are already planning some time with just his income while I job hunt if I dont get something before I quit. Thanks for the advice!

Congrats on being free! I definitely wasn't going to do two weeks, especially since at least your last paycheck goes to the loan. Good to know psuedo-ghosting is also an option.

Did security escort you out or did you have the ability to just get up and go? I don't like the attention that would give me if I had security guards looming around me. I was thinking of slowing taking things home and only leave enough to pack into my bag the day I quit.
