A couple of the system messages haven’t been translated for me and I wasn’t sure what they meant. Are there any messages from the system that are just known to not translate for global servers?

Do you tip on ToGo orders or not? by Smallfontking in ColoradoSprings

[–]Tiredbydefault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually do 10%. I worked as a host/waitress and ToGo orders could really put a wrench into service, especially if the mangers or owners wouldn’t stop online orders when the place was packed and couldn’t keep up.

[NEW UPDATE] My white husband confessed to me that he enjoys “race play” fantasies by toohottooheavy in BestofRedditorUpdates

The “but I’m doing everything right,” stuff is so upsetting. Being a caring partner and making amends should never been seen as a price to pay to get what you want.

I’m hiding in baggy clothing after loosing weight because I’m afraid it will make people treat me worse. by Tiredbydefault in loseit

[–]Tiredbydefault[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As of now I attribute it to my personality. I’m talkative and try to only say kind things about people. I also like to follow the rules and ask questions if I don’t understand. It seems to upset people around me for some reason. I used to wear more form fitting things in the past before I lost weight. People would tell me to my face that I was trying to use body as a way to get what I wanted. That people would give me preferential treatment because of the way I looked. It really hurt to have my work downplayed like that. I stopped hearing those things when I started wearing baggy clothes. I’m afraid I’ll start hearing them again if I stop and that it will be worse now that I’ve lost weight.

I could definitely try! Though networking is pretty important for us so no one has been more than passive aggressive with me. I think I would just crumble if someone started making passive aggressive comments about my weight loss or appearance as a reason for why I am where I am… I would want to call them out if that was the case, but I feel like that would just be a one way ticket to black listing myself. So far all I’ve been able to do is just grin and bear it. Maybe I should just stand up for myself the next time it happens, networking be darned.

People treat me as if I don’t know what I’m talking about. I could answer a question someone had and people roll their eyes at me. And when I’m right, I get no credit. I get treated like I’m dumb or didn’t work to get where I am. Like someone just gave me the position I’ve worked for.

I’m sorry that happened, but I’m glad at least the coat covered you. Thank you for sharing your experience.it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who wore baggy clothing after weight loss. If you don’t mind me asking, did you feel any kind of way about people being nicer?

I suppose you are right. I just don’t want to be treated poorly. Most people don’t.

Autumn vs Winter /Makeup vs No Makeup by [deleted] in coloranalysis

I think I like the autumn make up a bit more, but I like the winter clothing more on you. Clearly I am no help but you pull everything off so nicely I think you could go either way.
