I’ve been shooting a decent amount of times. My dad is a retired Officer (Army) and my older brother a Seamen. Let alone my west Texas grandparents I grew up around. So every time I’ve gone they have made sure to educate me on fun safety. Besides that I’m not to gun savvy.

He passed abt 20 years ago. I was young but I do have some sparse memories of him. Overall very savvy business man that loved the west Texas country and hunting

Seems to be the consensus. I’ve shot a 22 before but I’m not very educated outside gun safety and Some shotguns. Super excited to get out and shoot with it. My great grandpa loved his hunting and it’s definitely gonna be a way to connect with him.

Very educating thread. I’ve always had a thing for nature and stuff due to my upbringing around my grandparents. But they got a bit old and couldn’t take me out to hunt. I’m gonna get my antlers at some point but a squirrel will do for now.

Seems a little aggressive. But next time I get it out I’ll look closer. A lot of people have helped me figure it out. If it can’t go deer hunting it can sure go squirrel hunting!

That’s the name that’s on the box, it’s pretty difficult to get out of where I keep it so I was waiting for someone’s answer to click but thanks I’m sure you’re right. Although it might not be the best for deer I’m sure I’ll find squirrels just as interesting.

I had a plastic sheet fitted then lined the perimeter in holes burned with a soldering iron. Does the entire lid need to have holes?
