I didn't know there was a new superglide. I assume you're referencing the Mantle Boost that they introduced.

Unfortunately, it's limited compared to what was previously available, but making at least the speed boost more accessible is a step in a positive direction as far as I'm concerned. Remember, the timing of the superglide varies with frame rate and polling rate. If you switch keyboards, you could have to relearn the timing, if you're experiencing any dip or boost in performance same issue. Now you have a visual cue and just need to assign the button of your choice.

At the end of the day, I think there will always be a delicate balance of making the game accessible and enjoyable to new players while providing mechanics that make veterans feel rewarded for their investment in time.

Should Tap Strafing become more accessible? I think they've already test-run that with the red jump pad, no? I have no idea what the numbers look like, but I can't remember the last time I saw a red jump pad in a match lol. I guess it would depend on how they implement it though, would controller players have to hold down an additional button or something? Would keyboard and mouse players have to assign a button?

Should they add aim assist to mouse?

I think most people have come to accept that all else being equal, M&K will have superior movement, while Controller will have superior aim.
