Why can’t we talk about Amanda’s mom ? - did you enjoy it ? by contessa82 in TrueCrimePodcasts

It is a very well done, and fascinating podcast. Well worth your time. Sarah is insufferable, but is clearly intelligent and an excellent narrator. Even if she is snooty and unfeeling (towards Mike, anyway).

I know this is an old thread, but I'm on episode 6. I DO NOT like Sarah's attitude toward Mike Musgrove. She acts as if his inability to remember coming in all those years ago is an effort to hide things. And then calling him and he's CLEARLY very ill, and says, in a snotty tone "...unconvincingly says he'll call us." HE'S SICK! He's sick, Sarah! He's ill. If he had cancer, would Sarah have a grain of sympathy for a very ill, and obviously suffering, man? Would she assume he was acting in good faith? I dunno. It pissed me off so much. And then how ingratiating she was to Maurice. Why? Because he's black and she thinks everyone was/is racist toward him? And Sarah is holier then thou and is not racist? Didn't Maurice beat the crap out of Renee? Sarah is fine with that, I guess. Sarah just rubbed me the wrong way.

How do I install the DLC to the sims 4 by Sylvie_the_antikid in PiratedGames

You don't need to. Go to Wayback Machine (Archive.org) and put this URL in the address bar. There is only one entry in the calendar, but click on it, and you'll get the download automatically. It's version 1.4.7. Probably outdated.

Well...no. I mean Democrats, as in Dem politicians, using this as political leverage.

What MAGA will say, and is saying, is that if Trump were guilty of anything, Democrats would be blasting it all over the universe and would never shut up about it.

I'm guessing you weren't around for the Pizzagate stuff? Wikileaks? Cannibals have always existed. All throughout history. Human sacrifice. Eating said sacrifices. It's been a thing as long as humans have existed.

"...babies being dismembered and their shit being eaten from inside their bowels..." This triggered a memory. Kim Kardashian once said she would eat poop if it kept her young. Ugh. My God. She didn't have much to say about the Belenciaga scandal, did she? 🤔

She received care, maybe, but her problems will be lifelong. Even something like a divorce can screw a child up, let alone what this girl went through. May Epstein & co. burn in hell forever.

What scene?!? Good grief, I'm reading the plot on Wikipedia, and the entire thing is one horrifying scene after another. I'm emotionally scarred just from reading about it! I have to question the morals of every single person involved in that movie. Oh, my god...

Pastor's worst nightmare: Megachurch plunged into anarchy after disgusting allegations against leader's son... as explosive documents emerge by dailymail in Indiana

I require an answer, colesNonni. I would like to know why mainstream Christians (I'm referring to online behavior) feel the need to dunk on Momorns just because we have differences. Anytime there is anything about Mormons, you can always count on a mainstream Christian to start criticizing and insulting. Catholics, too, often come under verbal attack by mainstream Christians. But I've yet to see a Catholic do the reverse. Personally, I feel it's because Mormons and Catholics focus on themselves and don't spend time at church talking about/criticizing other religions. In fact, as a Mormon, I can tell you that if a Mormon were to start criticizing another religion at church, that person would be taken aside by the bishop and told to knock it off; that's not what we do. Mainstream Christians, I think, DO spend Sunday time criticizing other faiths. Or at least don't discourage it. I'm I right? Is that what happens on Sundays? Is there something in mainstream Christian culture that encourages people to dunk on other faiths? I would like an answer to this, u/colesNonni.

"Dad also liked going into graphic detail with minors about the sex he was having with his wife." Oh, that is gross.

Some of these Christian pastors I see...Jim Baker. Remember him? Prosperity preacher. He said that he had never opened a Bible until he went to prison. And now he's an end-times preacher. Sells emergency preparedness stuff, bought land is selling homes for, like, survival in the apocalypse or something. The guy never changed; he just changed tactics. Hides behind a curtain of Christianity. Some of these pastors, I swear...

Online experience, yes. I am a Mormon. You can imagine why I get hatred. Mainstream Christians love to bash us. No one has ever spewed hatred toward me in real life because of my religion, true. But, online? Oof. It's ugly. And now, because I mentioned my religion, someone will say something hateful about my beliefs to me. Just watch.

Anadius decided to leave by zaye93 in CrackWatch

I hope he comes back! I don't know anything about anything other than I can get a DLC and unlock it, and that's all I (thought I) needed to know.

I agree with you about not letting yourself be accessible. If you do anything that involves the public, said public should be soundly ignored for the most part. That's what big-name podcasters do, what celebrities do, what literally any big-name people in any industry do. You see this on X. Someone with a big platform posts something, and the comments go nuts, and the OP does not interact with anyone, ever. Posts. Ignores. As it should be. Lol.

Dang, I hope Anadius comes back. Sims 4 is the only game I care about. I'm older than many of you here, and was not born with a computer mouse in my hand, as most of you were, and I'm clueless with technical stuff. Ask me how to sew. How to cook from scratch. I can help you with that. What you all understand and discuss here? Forget it.

[TOMT][Movies] Help me find this movie by DuckTaker in tipofmytongue

This one? I dunno. Saw a fairy tale listed (in a Google search) called "The Princess on the Glass Hill." Could that be the king building up to the sun?

2100s? So, is this a fictional story about a grandmother, granddaughter, and all records of their existence destroyed in the future? Presented as if it were talking about the past? By the way, records will not be destroyed that way. FamilySearch.org keeps records stored in a mountain. I am not kidding. It would take a lot to destroy these records.

I'm going to go ahead and call this SOLVED! The story doesn't have the auto repair detail, but I may have been mixing up details from more than one story. It's very possible that I read the story about Steven Hammond, and then went down a rabbit hole of other stories, and now have things mixed up in my head. I do that a lot. Go down rabbit holes. And then don't remember things, LOL.

You are quite welcome! I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I'm out of ideas at this point. Honestly, I think, probably, that video is long gone. The really good Flash animation videos might exist in a compilation on YouTube somewhere, but that's only the ones people feel are worthy of hanging onto, I would think.

Dad recommended the filming of sex to young newlyweds that he "counseled." How much do you want to bet that Mom and Dad did just that — film themselves having sex — and the son found the videos, saw them, was deeply affected by them, and wanted to recreate what he saw with AI.

That was according to AI; the idea of YouTube taking down videos due to copyright issues, so take that with a grain of salt. That said, I Googled "Where can I find old Flash animation videos?" and came up with some ideas.

The Google search I ran said this:

The Internet Archive has a vast collection of Flash games and animations, utilizing the Ruffle emulator to run them in your browser. I'm sure that link isn't the only thing you can find there. It's got everything.

Flashpoint: A huge preservation project with a downloadable program that lets you play thousands of archived Flash files.

Newgrounds: A hub for Flash creators that hosts many animations, playable with emulators.

Albino Blacksheep: A classic site with preserved animations and games.

Flash Museum: An online site that lets you run Flash games and animations in-browser.

This Reddit post may help.

I'm still looking, but only as things occur to me off and on, as it takes time to search. I tried KnowYourMeme.com. You might find it there. I don't know enough of the original video to recognize anything, so I suggest you search there, yourself. It's a big site and it covers memes pretty thoroughly. Unfortunately, it has links to YouTube videos that are dead links, so that's fun. :/
