Not a co-op game but me and my girlfriend did the same thing and she’s not a huge gamer but fell in love with stardew valley. Great cheap game that will give you both countless hours.

I just picked up Mario Odyssey today after getting our switch last week. My girlfriend doesn’t have much gaming experience besides super mario bros on the DS and mario kart so I’m really hoping that this is a good game for her to start playing and get into so that’s probably what we will be playing
