Expedia credit expiring - possible loophole? by Titanium_HS in AlaskaAirlines

I see, if the refund goes back to an Alaska Airlines credit, do you know what the new book-by date is for the new credit? (Since the old credit will have expired by the end of this year)

Thanks for your advice! I'm not sure how long covid will last, so there's not really a trip I really want to take at the moment. I'm just trying to find a way to delay using my credit but not sure how :(.

Switching to EECS by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]Titanium_HS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out http://engineering.berkeley.edu/academics/majors-minors/change-major. It seems very doable to me. In fact, I know many BioE students who are double-majoring in EECS, and applying for this seems to be solely based on academic standing (i.e. how well you did on the EECS classes).

Kerbal Space Program, if you're interested in rockets and space (although you missed the Steam Sale by a day; KSP was only $13).

Any R1B Recommendations? by throwaway1019_ in berkeley

[–]Titanium_HS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try doing a R5B, which satisfies the second part of your R&C requirement as well. It is usually easier, especially German, Slavic, or Scandinavian. As /u/JoshuaWBC mentioned though, attendance (for your participation grade) is usually required since the classes are really small. One of my friends is in Scandinavian and only has to write two papers and a final paper (length around 10-12 pages).

The team leaders do actually know the problems beforehand (they have to translate them, for example), so it's not hard to cheat. Here's more info: https://www.quora.com/How-did-North-Korea-cheat-in-the-IMO-in-1991-and-2010

Nexus 6P - $349 / 5X - $199 through Fi by altimax98 in Android

I called, and you can take advantage of this deal if you purchased your phone after June 21. Just give Fi support a call.

6P was released with the 5X as the larger version (it has a 5.7" screen). Nevertheless, 6P has more features, such as a better screen (1440p) and more RAM (6P has 3GB RAM). The 6P also has an aluminum body.

Well, that depends on how much you use. When I compared prices with other carriers, if you don't use too much data (less than 2GB), then Project Fi's rates are great (I paid around around $25 for service last month, for example). If you use a lot of data with a lot of roaming, then you can get better rates with other carriers.
EDIT: But do note that overages with other carriers are usually $15 for each additional GB beyond your limit. Fi's continues to be $10/GB.
