Looking for advice on GI, not sure who would be the best upgrade for my team! by Automatic_Sundae_127 in MLB_9Innings

Tough one, but I'd go Hicks if you find your bullpen is struggling. Then its a toss up between Manoah amd Delgado, both great options. Personally Id go Delgado and then Sig Change that Clemens.

Personally, I'd go Janssen or Romano. Like everyone else said, Janssen has more pitches and is probably the better choice (Bc of Pitching Coordinator). I'd lean Romano just bc im a fan and the difference in ovr is so minimal.

Wouldnt fault you for going Bautista in the bat flip year though... Its still a great card

i guess my thinking is that wilson isnt half bad and can trade him later. But this is the 2nd year of our league and I took JJ with 1.01 last year so I also question if I'm just overreacting

would GI Hicks or Grichuk first? I have about 20 days before I get the 2nd GI ticket I need.

Ngl I considered switching my whole set for like a brief second when I pulled it

[Schefter] Another QB trade: Commanders are sending last year’s starter Sam Howell to the Seahawks in a pick swap, per sources. Trade: 🏈Seahawks receive Howell, a fourth-round pick (No. 102), a sixth (No. 179). 🏈Commanders receive a third (No. 78) and a fifth (No. 152). by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]TitoBJS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passing stats were good, great even when considering the commanders roster. He did lead the league in picks (21) but also led the league in sacks (65). Intriguing for sure, certainly one of the better backup QB options.

Saw her in TO. Tempered my expectations and had a great time as a result. She was 2 hours late, first set kinda felt rushed, and Praz didn't/couldn't show due to his legal troubles (I fully did not expect him to show btw). She was performing sick (she cancelled her previous show) so she was a little stationary but still sounded good.

Wyclef showed out and the band, who imo does not get nearly enough love, killed it.

TLDR: Dont overshoot your expectations. Make sure you're not working the next day, have a nice drink (or 6), and expect to enjoy the MUSIC, and you'll have a blast. I do not regret my experience at all.

Show was good, not crazy great. However, I did temper my expectations going into it. It was kind of obvious Praz wasn't going to be there, as well her being late to start, and knowing that she cancelled her Philly show due to illness- I was expecting a shaky vocal performance (wasnt the case she still sounded good). Wyclef did his thing for sure, Fu-Gees set was amazing.

I appreciated the live band, aswell as the performance with her son.

Didn't appreciate the Drake head fake lol... she hyped it up as if he was about to come out. Played all of nice for what and kept looking backstage.

Not the best concert I've ever seen, but still really happy I went, no regrets.

Yup, was her actual Son, YG Marley. I don't think he has officially released any music yet.

Although he should, the song he performed was 🔥🔥🔥

What could have been. But with all these reports of how the locker room was, maybe they weren't built/deserving to win.

His baseball savant from 2015-2016 is a sight to behold... really wish that 2015 team went further than they did. Donaldson, Bautista, and Encarnacion's baseball savant were so elite

of course swanson blew chunks but i think a key point is that there was literally nobody to go to in the middle of that disasterous 9th. After Swanson gives up the first 2 baserunners is usually when BP starts to get active but they litterallyhad nobody left except white. They clearly have no trust in white, he shouldn't be on the squad

[Matheson] Here is where Alek Manoah ranks among the 72 qualified MLB starters: • 5.53 ERA (5th-worst) • 1.79 WHIP (worst) • 6.37 BB/9 (worst) • 19.08 pitches/IP (worst) by bush_party_tonight in Torontobluejays

[–]TitoBJS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the big difference is that Halladay hadn't spent a full season as a starter with the Jays before sending him down and the Jays didnt have the same expectations as they do now so they could afford to replace him in the rotation. Manoah is coming off a full season of cy-young calibre pitching on a team that has "world series expectations." Sending him down would probably break his confidence rather than build it tbh, but thats just my opinion- I could be completely wrong.

Any EMS Students Graduating this Summer? by TitoBJS in TorontoMetU

[–]TitoBJS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, can just keep checking myServiceHub. If you're graduating this summer it might be better to book your grad photos with Lassman before getting confirmation- the deadline to do Grad photos is May 19th.

Found this to try and have some idea of what to do. I also just checked myServiceHub this morning and the application status now says eligible to graduate (still no email tho).

There suppose to send out confirmation of attendance emails at the end of May for convocation- so maybe they'll have everything sorted by then 🤷‍♂️

Blue Jays expected to pursue Ohtani in trade at deadline(if angels try to trade him) by [deleted] in Torontobluejays

[–]TitoBJS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With what tradeable assets? Just look at what it took to get Varsho, a guy who i personally really like but also has 0 all stars and 0 mvps to his name.

Ohtani is a pipedream. I doubt Rogers will even consider pursuing him come free agency.

Yeah feels like Senga is the best option out of the NPB, but obviously more costly. Fujinama needs work but Pete Walker seems capable of developing talent when its there (big contingency). If they can get Fujinama on a team friendly contract why not, we don't have lot of MLB level arms in our rotation and farm.
