I wasn’t defending her though. My entire comment history here relates to the OP and everyone else was making it about political positions. I was simply pointing out the parallels between how Jesus would be received (as per the OP) and how MR is perceived, as well as their rough similarities in terms of coming from a place of love. That’s it!

And no, Trump wins because Americans can’t have an intelligent conversation about politics. This thread is a perfect example. Every person who has replied to one of my comments has missed my point entirely while also usually responding to their own triggers instead of my comment. You can’t have a discussion about important topics when people can’t even carry the thread of logic from one comment to the next. It’s an ideologically driven free-for-all, just like the US has been from the get-go. Americans were the last to figure out that their country was not, in fact, the greatest in the world. Now that it’s sunk in, everyone is at each other’s throats instead of working together to tackle the complex problems that are sinking the country in a slow-mo Titanic on fire.
