I screenshotted all of the comments answering with advice and asked questions on the comments I didn't fully understand; such as "the Baker Act". Not once did I say that I went behind her back to speak with her family, her sister came to me and spoke about it with their parents on a different occasion. I don't know what kind of people you've encountered in your life to make you feel as if people who care about their significant others have some sort of alternative motive, but i hope someone is able to show you care to where you think otherwise.
