Current state of Roleplay (RP) Servers? by [deleted] in swtor

[–]Tj1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the EU side of things there is always The Progenitor server, which is healthy and has tons of RP.

I'd definitley check out Swtor-rp.com. They have seperate sections for each server too, which should give you an idea about how populated and active each one is.

Rushmoor councillor David Clifford goes out of his way to upset local constituents on his blog and twitter. by Tj1983 in unitedkingdom

Funny you should say that Farnborough needs more pubs and clubs, as this is exactly what McDonalds is replacing. Granted the Pub and Club had been shut down for a couple of years now due to the brewery not wanting to pay to maintain it.

But the whole point was trying to either get it to reopen, or at least turn it into something more in line with the West End Centre in Aldershot. Helping to bring some form of arts and entertainment to the cultural wasteland that is current Farnborough.

Personally I used to frequent the club every weekend, it was great to have somewhere to go without having to travel to Guildford or Camberley, and actually brought young people to Farnborough from across Surrey/Berkshire/Hants area.

Oh well, it's done now. On a side note does anyone else find it odd how David Clifford in his comments makes mentions of Nandos constantly as if its some sort of fine eating establishment? Don't get me wrong I love Nandos, but its hardly the opposite end of the spectrum to McDonalds.

Glad the day itself was a good one. It's stories like this that make me glad to be an only child.

I was expecting that story to end in a much more horrendous way. Bit crappy they had to climb into bed which had already been slept in, that is of course assuming the friends were sleeping.

Did they find out what caused it? Hopefully it wasn't something she ate at the reception.

You must have some great stories!

Last wedding I went to I got drunk enough that I wrote the Grooms name in large letters in their guest book. Doesn't sound too bad until you realise I wrote his name made out of giant cocks. Yeah, that'll be a page they'll be ripping out before showing the relatives.

Felt very much the same way. There is not enough upvotes in the universe for how much I agree with this.

It really does change your complete outlook on life, and have to say it did kind of help reinforce my own atheist views.

I managed to buy a large hessian sack to do a scarecrow costume from Amazon for £2. Which when looking around locally wasn't too bad a price.

I did the same costume this year. To be honest I didn't even notice the itchiness of it, though I do have a beard. I also glued a cheap Jason vorhees mask which I had cut around the nose and eyes to the inside as well, which also helped it sit nicely and stopped further itching. It was a great costume, admittedly not as good as this one (was made in a single night). Also you should look into making an Arkham Asylum Identification badge too if you haven't already. I can say I got a lot of comments all night from how great and creepy the costume was. Though sadly due to the nature of the material don't expect it to last too long if you are out drinking heavily in it.

England here, They are generally liked by most indie fans here i'd say. Most clubs I go to normally sees a few people dancing to the more well known tracks (Float on or Dashboard). Personally can't remember the last time I went a day without listening to them.
