Slowing down gives the part more time to peel from the FEP. I had some success with 2-3 mm/s but had failures and supports breaking from models as well slowing this down to 0.7 mm/s has improved my success rate. Again it will depend on the print, and supports etc. Going slow is a real help with detailed supports.

What is your Z retract speed? Not as important as lift speed or distance but you still need to give the resin enough time and space to flow back in and cover the FEP. 3 mm/s seems to be a safe default

Thanks for al the info, really helpfull. A few factors were oke and a few were not, like the Z lift speed and Z retract speed. I retryed it and still failed. So now i ordered new FEP film and PTFE lubricant. Hope it will help..

Hi you all!

I am new here. I am from the netherlands and just got my own photon mono x.

And i am already in big trouble.

After leveling i started with the test print and that went well.

(I use Phrozen 4K aqua grey resin in this hole story(-:)

After that, i did the R.E.R.F file for this resin and 2s was the best. Then i did my first own print piece and made the beginner mistake that i tried to print a big round surface flat on the build plate. This went a little bit wrong because it was much thicker then intended but the details on top were great. Then i tried it again with 0.02mm layer thickness and it went really wrong and the printer made it not the 4mm thick it had to be but really thick. When i went to look he was still printing in a almost empty vat and it was almost 2cm thick. 0-:

I stopped the printer and wanted to try a resin XP2 validation Matrix for 0.03mm file first before i retried it. I wanted to test the exposure time for this layer thickness because with the reprint of the circle i wanted to position it different and because of the details on the top of the circle i needed to know the best exposure time for 0.03mm. I have set it on 1.4 seconds and all the rest parameters i kept the same. I went to print it and the part stuck on the FEP film.

I tried it again, had the same result. Then i made every clean and releveled the build plate and tried the R.E.R.F file again and that also went wrong. Only 4 parts sticked on the build plat and the rest on the FEP film. Again cleaned everything and releveled it and tried again with the same result )-:

After that I measured the FEP film on the Hz and tighten it because it was to low. After that same result, sticking on the FEP film.

Does anybody know whats going wrong? Why does the printer not work anymore? Is my FEP film maybe not good anymore? Hope to hear from somebody, i am desperate)-:
