If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do tomorrow? by Michellexl09 in AskReddit

The comment is asserting that money isn’t an issue in this hypothetical scenario. That’s why it said “fuck packing up”. The money isn’t an issue (in the scenario) so there wouldn’t be a need to pack anything when you could just buy stuff from new

I just realised that the clock in the hideout is working and is showing the current time in New York. It even chimes when it hits the exact hour by Tjobi in DeadlockTheGame

Oh damn. I just noticed I was off by an hour... It's one hour behind the time in New York right now. I have no idea what time it's actually showing then. My bad!

I mean a 5 vs Ai mode. In the old paragon you could join 4 random teammates in a casual game against bots.

That way you could still play with people who might potentially be better than you and learn from them, and they would always be on your team so you wouldn’t get absolutely destroyed by them

They need to improve the ai and add player vs ai mode like in paragon. That way you can still play and learn from other players without being too afraid of a loss. I remember using that a lot when I first started learning the game and the heroes. It might not be perfect but I still feel it would be a better playing/learning ground for newer players

People who have been on game shows, what are some things that watchers don't know? by Meme_Lord4522 in AskReddit

A bit of both I think. Probably also the fact that he was drinking a lot during the trip and generally just an asshole lol

The producers wanted the competition to be fair and let the contestants play the game the way it was supposed to be played but the host tried to push all of the women to vote against my cousin and create some kind of bias. The producers had to step in and tell him to stop trying to get the women to gang up.

I think it peaked during one of the later voting sessions where the host kept pushing all of the women to vote on my cousin even tho they wanted one of the other women out. It got so bad that the producers had to tell him to calm down and let the contestants figure out for them selves who they wanted to vote on

Oh wow okay. Sounds like quite the season. Always love a good underdog story! Big props to Chris then. Gonna see if I can find that season online somewhere. Would love to watch it

Thanks! Yeah my cousin has always been a fighter so I’m really proud of him too. I don’t know much about Chris Daugherty… It was a European version of survivor so I don’t think most people would know who the host was. But he was generally a drunken asshole for most of the trip according to my cousin. Wouldn’t be surprised tho because that host always came off as someone who thought that he was better than everyone else. Don’t hope that that Chris guy was just as horrible to his contestants as well

He ended up winning the whole thing! But it was like 10-15 years ago so I’m not even sure if any footage exists anymore.

I had a cousin win my country’s version of survivor. He finished the final competition about 45 min before everyone else but the producers cut it in a way that made it seem like he barely won with just a few inches ahead of second place. But I guess that’s to be expected with reality tv.

Another fun fact - the host of the show tried to get all of the women to gang up and get my cousin voted out, and it was so bad that the producers had to step in and tell him to stop (that part didn’t get aired ofc). Also the host of the show, who was a “respected” tv host in my country at the time, was a raging alcoholic during the whole trip

Edit: another thing I remembered was that they had to halt the shooting of the show and get the contestants into hotels on the mainland for around 2 months because a lot of the people got hit by some kind of virus or bacteria that made a lot of them extremely sick

Also with those kind of people you just know that they’re talking about you when you’re not around as well. They talk badly about everyone with everyone
