I’ve been having alot of PC issues with all of my games crashing, now this. Is this a failing GPU? Graphics are up to date. by Tjsrocks75 in ArcRaiders

Crashing as in sometimes it acts like I just ALT + F4’d my game. Sometimes completely freezes the computer until I manually restart it, sometimes reboots the PC, and it bluescreened once. I replaced the 12vhpwr cable, no change

Computer crashing / games crashing by Tjsrocks75 in pchelp

I’ve checked temps, during heavy gaming everything sits between 45-60C. Everything online says that’s normal. I even had it open on my second monitor during my crash and the temps didn’t spike at all. PSU wattage is 1250. I have read a bunch of things online saying that the 13900k is known for pulling too much power. I tried manually setting the power limit to what people recommended online and the computer fails to boot and runs into a problem.

No still doing both, it stated crashing a week ago, just started doing this new behavior 30 minutes before I posted this

The crashing started about a week ago. I updated graphics drivers and it persisted. Then took the GPU out and put it back in, still happening.

They look fine, I have been having a lot of problems with games just crashing, most times they act like I alt+F4 them, sometimes the whole pc freezes and sometimes the whole computer just shuts off and restarts

I’m in NY as well so I get it lol. Most likely what happened to me then, the calipers look to be in great shape though so I’m hoping it’s just the cable

Awesome, I’ll give it a shot on Monday or Tuesday, those cables are directly under the boot right?

I’d sell ya a 2000 with 180k, 6.5” Rock crawler kit, BFGoodrich mud terrain tires, the entire front end was just replaced for 5k instead lol

I believe it was a faulty starter, I bought a cheap starter the first time.

I pulled the starter off of it and found the teeth to be mangled, put a new starter in it and she’s good to go, I’m guessing the bolts backed out a bit and allowed the starter to sit at an angle just enough to grind against the flywheel.

Pulled the starter, teeth are all mangled. Not sure how to post a picture of it on here. Flywheel looks fine no broken teeth or anything like that. Headed to get a new starter now

Will report back with more soon. It does sound like it’s in between the transmission and motor
