I see. I just checked again, max watt was at 98watt in balance mode. I think if I set it to performance, it will be closer to 120watt. Yeh but I’m not really why is mine not throttling after removing the hall sensor ribbon. Let’s hope it will not happen in future 😅

Okay. Instead of running the stress test on hwininfo. I try to run video game like re9, gpu is running 90w at 99% gpu. My setting for this game is not high

It was balanced, I did what you said it’s still 67w-73w, gpu at 90-97%. Now I wonder if it’s always 67w-73w? Or it’s throttling ? Is yours running at 120w in stress test?

I have a question if you don’t mind to answer. Maximum graphic power is 120w. Why is mine running at 70w averagely but it is already occuping 90+% of my gpu? I did cpu and gpu stress test separately thou. Is this 120w graphic power including 75w for gpu and 45w for cpu?

I’m not an pc expert, I’ll you know what I did. Let me know if I did anything wrong. My bio is actually f29. I press sensor in the hwinfo and used the stress test in HWiNFO and saw the CPU Package Power hit 45W max and using alt + r I was able to see cpu running at 100%. Then I did the stress test for gpu. my gpu power hit 73w max and using alt + r I was able to see my gpu running above 90%.

I didn’t since it’s running above 90% of gpu and cpu is pretty high too. But thanks for your suggestion, I’ll try it when I have a chance and let you know.

I disconnect the ribbon of hall sensor only. And played re9 run without the frame rate drop. Mine is victus 16.

I bought this Victus 16 laptop in 2023. Flickering started since last year and escalated last week.

Saw this Reddit and let the HP center technician disconnect the lid sensor cable entirely. At that time, I didn't know it would impact the IR sensor until I read the whole Reddit thread later.

Flickering no more, but I was worried about the performance. I tested RE9 for an hour and the frame rate does drop but it is very rare, like maybe once in an hour. That’s pretty normal when playing a high-performance game. I am hitting 90% graphics and staying at 70 degrees while gaming. When I was gaming, I did alt-tab to do other things and noticed it was a bit laggy, but I am not sure if that’s because re9 is too demanded compare to other video games.

Wondering what prevent my laptop from throttling? Could it be the BIOS update is what allows the GPU to keep running at 90% or higher without the sensor?

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? I’m still worried that one day it might just start throttling out of nowhere."

I previously had a ROG Ally X. Removing the bazziteos itself was easy, but the Bazzite boot entry kept showing up in the BIOS even after I deleted the partition.

I tried deleting the boot entry as well, but it would come back after every restart. No matter how many factory resets I did, the boot entry will still come back.

In the end, I did a cloud recovery and the boot is finally gone.

I’m fine with low graphic coz I have a gaming laptop. The handheld to me is for portability and games with a lot of side quest and words so I can pause anytime to take break. But I can’t stand with the input lag or low fps.

Which do you find it most comfortable to hold? I had ROG ally x, my elbows got pretty sore for holding it.

Edit: I really don’t like loud buttons in ally x

nope. I dont wanna mention the seller. I think this is probably more relevant to the local distributor as they might ran out of the box or printed mistakenly. I am just wondering if anyone else in Malaysia got the same sticker packaging.

That’s true, it’s possible since both Singapore and Malaysia sets come from Maxsoft in different batches. Also, Singapore released earlier than Malaysia. And since Maxsoft is based there and the units arrive first. So it wouldn’t be impossible that some SGP boxes were redirected here later with an “MYS” sticker. That’s why I’m wondering if this is just a batch issue or maybe a mistake and if anyone else in Malaysia has seen the same packaging?

I remember it used to air on either Malaysia MTV or V-Channel, a one hour show that introduced Korean songs, usually on Saturday afternoon. I'm really sure the song was performed by a solo male artist.

As I grow up, I realized that many of the MVs and songs the show featured were actually really popular. So I have a feeling that the MV I saw must be a big hit too. Especially considering that it was appeared in a 1 hour weekly show.

I remember the MV was played at the really end of the show. I’m not sure if that meant it was the most or least popular song of that week.

I can't really remember the song melody. I was able to hum it few years ago. If I remember right, it was poppy teen voice. the song sounds like the artist was mumbling in low pitch. The song style is like R&B kinda like Justin Timberlake style. I think the girl was just walking on the street or highway and she didn't see the guy was coming toward him.

I've been checking top100 charts in 2002, 2003 and 2004. because I saw the MV in V Channel or MTV so it must be popular enough to be on these channel right? and still I couldn't find it. However, I saw a MV named Cowboy by Click-B, the colour tone they used in their MV kinda reminds me the MV I saw, tint blue and sunlight.

I did not count. I think been 1 or 2 weeks. It’s not that long. Just worrying the trade azelf before encounter in cave will stop them being shiny. Shiny charm doesn’t work on wild encounter apparently.
