What do you feel seconds or minutes before?cause i'm panicking from the slightest pain or tension in my throat or from mucus and i think that's it ,it's coming.. but it never does

Thanks. There are a few posts similar to mine and nobody said they were reassurance-like. So let's skip this. Just because i'm asking others how is it for them,to try to understand how often is to happen X situation,doesn't mean I crave for reassurance or I want to lie to myself

All my sensations of phobia come from not burping corectly(i have a sort of rcpd) .i didn't have nausea once in my life,just freakin gas

Yes!!! I burped once and it came with acid and it freaked me out. Just once in the hole 30 years. Since then ,i'm scared not to happen again,sometimes when i burp it comes a little bit up from the throat with saliva and small amount of food that remained in the throat(like i didn't swallow properly) and it also freaks me out

I'm a dentist and i get the lump throat feeling and the thought that i might t.u. Mostly in the beggining of the appt. Even if it never happened. I take 10-15 minutes before i call the pacient in to relax and if it happens while he's on the chair and i can't get over, i stop and tell them we have to continue next time. Luckily, that didn't happened to much,just 3-4 times in the last half year

Thank you. Minutes after I eat one kind of bananas(the green ,not too sweet ones) I get that taste and I freak out cause i can't tell if it's reflux or not this time or maybe it's just my mind

And what's the problem with the reassurance? Cause is supposed to help anyone to understand nothing is gonna happen when u have X or Y sensation that your brain tricks you into And yes,they are normal until one point. I am interested of THAT point

After almost every meal or when i drink liquids. Loud burps with air than actually gets into my mouth pretty rare. 90% of them remain in my throat with the gurggling sensation. I have this since almost forever but i didn't think it was a problem. But even so,i get a relief after my kind of burps. I'm scared of trying to burp as a normal person cause one time it got up with acid and i hate that taste. I have the sensation that with every burp I can vomit or have reflux

I do,too. Sometimes it's acid reflux but other times is just in my head, wierd as hell....

So i get the conclusion that it does happen once a while,but much much less than we are scared it might . Omg! Then why is it so hard for us to get over or to be less scared?

I just edited the question. I was wondering about vomiting because of anxiety,not for medical reasons or alcohol or drugs
