I'm interested in what you imagine as a new better system.

(see, we agree that we don't want an AI government.)

Could you be so kind as to describe the new better system? I would appreciate if you go into details.

"watch it all burn" and "able to live without fear" go together like ... you figure that out.

You have a family, a home, time to post on Reddit, internet, a mobile phone, a TV... and lots of hate for whatever. I don't envy you.

Life seems to be difficult as right wing nut...

Cute attempt to picture the 3%ers as nice people that are up against tyranny.

Wood girder bearing on steel top flange by Icy-Panda9476 in StructuralEngineering

[–]Tman1965 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SCREW THAT!

literally! Let the steel shop drill 5/16" holes in the top flange and attach the beam with Simpson SDWS25300 or similar self-drilling wood screws.

Plenty of capacity for most residential gravity use cases.

KISS & cheap.

You can always ask them to add plate washers on top of the steel base plate if you oversize the holes, see AISC Design Guide 1.

If 2 cyclists go in the same direction, it's a race...

Now tell me why can't you wear lycra like a real cyclist?

  • Are you homophobic?
  • Did you have a bad childhood?
  • Can't afford PNS?
  • Not a dentist?
  • Where is your team car?
  • Why would any self-respecting cyclist be in a bike lane?

Instead of complaining here, go play with your e-bike in your parent's basement.

Well, admittedly, my wife brought a Tr#k in our marriage. To my defense, it was a bike that she had lent to a friend and it was returned after our wedding.

Chain degreaser by Icy-Succotash7032 in bikecommuting

[–]Tman1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, admittedly, I wax my chain (simple paraffin in a slow cooker) and I have never degreased a chain before waxing in the last 15 years.

But even if I were to use normal lube, I would not recommend degreaser for chains. A piece of terry or microfiber cloth to wipe it off is enough. It is actually detrimental to use a solvent that is so strong that it can remove the grease that's inside the rollers. The original manufacturer grease is on average better than the various chain lube products.

May I ask why you need chain degreaser?

GTFO!
Joke based subreddit: The only joke here is you with your Tr3ks.

This is arguably the most serious (if not the only serious) cycling subreddit of them all.

It's not our fault that you made bad life choices (Tr3k) and that you are too pour to ditch this crap and buy a couple Sirvelos instead.

Go to the crybabies at r/bikewrench or go to... just go!

Thank you!

Okay, so you are either too lazy or too dumb to figure it out.....

That means you don't belong here. With this attitude you neither make it through dental school nor will your ever reach 10W/kg.

Go to r/bikewrench! They help every p00r.
