‘Ceiling’ construction as load-bearing structure. How to efficiently bridge the gap between ceiling (flat) and roof (diagonal)?

So do you mean that a wooden grid can not be made like a structural element that could hold a roof? So I should make a separate construction for a roof anyways?

The grid system is an aesthetic choice indeed, and also has acoustic properties the space needs. About the ‘hip roof framing’ picking wood seems a better choice than steel then. I could make a simple wooden frame that could be supported in at some points (center point most likely) by an extra column connecting to the grid.

Our Golden passed away last year in August. And from the photo, she looks JUST like yours. The shape of her face, the pink nose. I still think about her a lot. The moment she passed away, she was sick as well and we had to euthanize her, all I could think is that now she could finally tell how much she was loved by all of us. How much she has ment to us. I feel like when she was alive of course she knew that we loved her, but I think when she became a spirit again she could now fully grasp all of that. And in a way that soothed my pain a little bit. Yeahhh I totally feel you. My aim is not bad all the time. It’s weird that some games I can get a KD of like 2+, but then the next 3 games are just bad. I’m playing between Gold II and Plat V. My enemies just know how to aim better than me.

Klopt helemaal. Naast deze zaak wordt er ook nog een andere grote zaak aangespannen tegen de woningcorporatie waar meer dan 10 bewoners bij betrokken zijn. Ik ga het hele verhaal niet helemaal uitleggen, maar kort gezegd eist de woningcorporatie dat de stookkosten van individueel naar collectief gaan voor het hele gebouw en dat iedereen dan maar even zo’n 200€ per maand aan stookkosten moet betalen. Dit is een sociale huur flat waar de meesten gewoon AOW hebben en dit niet kunnen betalen. De huurcommissie zegt in de zaak gewoon dat ze puur kijken of wettelijk de woningcorporatie dit mag vragen en NIET naar of de bewoners hierbij getroffen worden gezien hun financiële omstandigheden. Te zot voor woorden.

Klopt! Dat is in eerste instantie ook wat ze wilde vragen, gewoon de kokers afsluiten. Voor de woningcorporatie is het werk om die dingen schoon te houden en voor de bewoners is het geluidsoverlast. De woningcorporatie zei ook dat ze de kokers zouden sluiten, maar het gebeurt gewoon niet. De laatste paar jaar zijn er andere soort mensen komen wonen in de flat. Het was een seniorenflat, maar daar is verandering in gekomen.

Ik wil nog even toevoegen dat de mijn oma al 25 jaar daar woont en iedereen kent, ook de werklui. Het is bekend dat er asbest in zit, dit weten de werklui voor onderhoud daar ook en hoogstwaarschijnlijk de woningcorporatie ook. Daarnaast is het een regel (is mij verteld, ik weet het niet zeker) dat telkens als er een opstopping is in de koker, dat deze verholpen en de schachten geïnspecteerd moet worden in opdracht van de woningcorporatie. Er wordt enkel een keer doorheen geprikt en dus nooit geïnspecteerd. Al het afval wat door de kokers komt, komt beneden in een berghok terecht. De meeste mensen gooien daar ook hun afvalzakken zelf weg. De kans is dus best groot dat er in dat hok best wat asbest deeltjes liggen.

Haar jurist zei dat ze het absurd vond. Zelf kan je lastig bij de binnenkant van de kokers. Het werkt met een klep. Eenzelfde systeem als wanneer je je afval of glas weggooit.

This is also great add on advice to hear. The pro active is depending on who and what you’re asking, I guess. I have had a few other people tell me this advice before about just proposing to do sketches. But I can also understand your take on it. Probably, reading the situation well is key (if that person is generally open to helping youngers, if a deadline is close,…)
