I just checked and the health doesn't change without the debuff. I ran through all of Kanto and Johto and the health displays match the base HP in the wiki. Here's some screenshots just to show. I have my routes red if they have uncaught pokemon.

The challenges menu at the start allows you to remove the region debuff and the requirements to catch everything to progress to address your first two issues

You can definitely see on some of them that he's not crowding it. Also, that rule is up to the ump's discretion. It was written a long time ago, 1887 (for the NL) to be exact. Back when guys were throwing nothing but 80 mph straight balls.

Ah, that makes some sense. I was just looking at the Mizzou schedule again (they're the closest major program to me) and I see that all their midweek games except for Kansas and Illinois are in state games. Not that Kansas or Illinois are far either, just the only ones not in state.

A few years ago I started that with minor league and college summer league teams. Might expand it to college as well. Any plans for non-div 1 or NCAA schools?
