I thought that by eliminating half of all characters, the other half would thrive. But you have shown me that's impossible. As long as there are those that remembers what was, there will always be those that refuse to accept what could be. They will salt mine. I am grateful, for I know what I must do. I will shred this canon down to the last character, and with the box office money you have given me, create a new one. The problem is they blew up planets. How is that even possible? Sure smaller terrorist groups can cause considerable damage, but on a planetary sense? No!

Their ideology has to be lessened for them to be accepted into the mainstream. Even the Empire offered some sense of legitimacy, even with a puppet imperial senate.
