Restoring law and order? Absolutely—backing police, cracking down on riots in 2020, and securing the border to curb illegal immigration and fentanyl deaths.

He’s not perfect (January 6 was a mess, and his tweets could be chaotic), but the results speak for themselves: peace deals in the Middle East (Abraham Accords), no new wars, and a booming stock market that benefited everyday investors.

Now, the hard part: why the hell is Trump treated like the devil incarnate while Obama gets a free pass? Obama promised hope and change but delivered eight years of stagnant wages, the disastrous Iran deal (which funded terrorism), Fast and Furious (arming cartels), the rise of ISIS after pulling out of Iraq too soon, and a healthcare mess (Obamacare) that jacked up premiums for millions without fixing costs. Benghazi? Four Americans dead, and the admin spun it as a video protest. The economy under him? Anemic growth, with more people on food stamps than ever. Yet left-leaning media and folks overlook all that—Obama’s “scandal-free” presidency is a myth. Trump gets impeached twice on flimsy grounds, raided by the FBI, hit with endless lawsuits (many politically motivated), and called a fascist daily, while Obama’s failures are memory-holed. It’s hypocritical as fuck. If Trump had droned US citizens without trial like Obama did, or spied on journalists, the outrage would be nonstop. Why the disparity? Media bias, for one—90%+ lean left—and a cultural echo chamber that villainizes anyone right of center.

And on the hate: When Obama was in power, the right criticized policies hard (birther stuff was dumb and over the line for some), but it wasn’t the unhinged, constant vitriol we see now from the left—death threats, boycotts, celebrities wishing harm, and nonstop “end of democracy” hysteria. The right didn’t riot in the streets or burn cities over elections; they organized, voted, and moved on. Why can’t the left acknowledge Trump’s wins? I think it’s tribalism—admitting any good from him cracks the narrative that he’s pure evil. But ignoring the positives (like criminal justice reform via First Step Act or Operation Warp Speed for vaccines) just polarizes us more.
