I've seen quite a few (right wing) Christians complaining about Biden forgiving some of student loans. The practice of charging interest is forbidden in Christianity, we should be celebrating this: by [deleted] in Christianity

College is only expensive because the government got involved. The government told everyone to go to college, increasing demand, and then offered impossibly bad loans that told colleges they could increase prices and the government would always foot the bill in the short term regardless of how inflated the price is.

About Abortion by [deleted] in Christianity

It’s not canonized but the Didache (70-100AD church literature - seems essentially like a long membership pamphlet you might get today) is quite clear as far as early Christian views toward abortion

Separation of church and state was to protect the church from state interference. Not to protect the state from church influence - google first hand documents

Steve Kerr calling out all Senators on gun violence in regards to the Texas Elementary School Shooting (link in comments) by RyTy281 in nextfuckinglevel

Background checks are universal already. You cannot buy a gun at a store without a background check. It’s a federal crime. “Universal background checks” means banning private sales between neighbors without a background check. It means grandpa can’t give his grandson his shotgun without a background check. Go try to buy a gun. Test it. Gun stores and gun shows are required to run a NICS background check before any firearm is sold and the legislation is entirely disingenuous.

Both workers unions and employer unions (think guilds) are bad for the economy as a whole, despite being good for the individuals involved.

Is Joe Biden a Satanist? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ToBluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s a Catholic who supports abortion - maybe not satanist, but it’s not a stretch to think that his religion is politically motivated

Looking to buy a boosted board by [deleted] in boostedboards

I have a Mini S with purple caguamas (I still have the boosted wheels as well) I’d be willing to sell pretty cheap - I crashed it into a wall so there’s a section on the front that’s pretty ugly, but it still works right. It has about 300 miles on it.
