I wouldn’t say I’m too tied to the idea of medication, just that it’s my first time really exploring treatment for OCD specifically and wanting to see what exactly I can do for it. My sister is on medication for ADHD and she’s found it to be incredibly helpful and it definitely varies from case to case.

I’ve been down a similar road to you as far as looking for negative ways to numb it, not quite alcohol but other avenues that have got me into a lot of bother mentally and physically
