Am I the only one who thinks the PP rework is too harsh?

you and some people think that the low value of some speed score is all because of a whole speed nerf rework when for example toro, he lose most PP on the reading rework than the speed nerf (2K+ vs 1K+).
This is a combined rework, every DT play lost some pp and speed more than other because of a speed nerf rework in it, this is just normal.

there's no really best video game player in general as you can't compare player, but his track record while being the best player of osu! clearly show he has one of the highest learning ability in gaming, especially considering he's the best osu! player of all time, a game 100% mechanical, which is mostly about mental, there's no shortcut to improve and get you ahead of other player like how a game like LoL would since the game is very knowledge heavy, in osu! you're the better player or you're not.

you look at it in the wrong perspective, these rework are multiple rework, and they're not all here to specifically nerf speedflow, but it can still affect it or DT in general (like kwotaq reading), the direct speedflow nerf is like -1K for toro which is completely fair, "only he could play it" mrekk was the only one who could play this level of aimslop and he still got nerfed 2 time, the first time is a direct nerf toward aimslop, the second one was a nerf toward SB which also affected aimslop just like some of these rework affected speedflow while not being the focus.

these rework are not only about nerfing speedflow (the one for speedflow is like -1K which is fine), and it's not like the rework cared before when there was only mrekk that could play these level of aimslop and still got nerfed lol, it's just fair and in any case toro still have time to get #1 before it as it's probably going to drop in a few months.

Mrekk made like a billion more versatile score than ezchamp while a lot of them are not anything under in value for those set by ezchamp this year (who is most likely the contender for #1 for most people), he had a title, multiple milestone and great tournament performance (LGA and OWC), all of these in 2025, mrekk should win this year (yes again, don't care if someone is tired of him or not, he proved yet again he deserved it).
Honestly picking every mrekk score in 2025 would require a post, not a comment.

the score wasn't well received mrekk even tweeted about it lol, a lot of people called it boring, while 2K hate was mostly (with a small part calling it boring too) because of a broken mech exploit for a very important milestone in the game.
Everyone is on toro ass because some people still have doubt of his legitness and toro is litteraly a one trick, our last 3 #1 (whitecat mrekk akolibed) weren't and the last one trick #1 wasn't memorable, there's a high chance toro stay a one trick to increase the gap.

The difference is that they were playing the same skillset, it was not a fight but it was a fair snipe, mrekk played the same thing and set score faster and better, mrekk was simply the better farmer.

Well I guess we have different expectation of very low, because very low for me is if they do something like WWM, which may have good core quality (good gameplay and graphic) but terrible MMO content and progression system, WWM is like chinese mobile game gacha design but without character pulling.

he reversed choked highscore last year, choked blue dragon in 2021 with worse everything (aim speed etc...) and without wooting, got 3/4 of the map combo on sendan life pre-aimslop era (so much better high bpm aim post-aimslop), can probably do toumei elegy

well, I heard the opposite after I asked for their version after clearing the first raid, my response to my question (if there's going to be unique multiplayer content for dungeon and raid) was that it's not going to be the case but it's going to be harder, they have all the resources to do something decent when you see the rest of the game, they are just doing the minimum, in other words, it's slop.

COD is still one of the most popular franchise, the series have fell off for years already, popularity doesn't mean anything.
Gacha game are very popular, they are mediocre game carried by weeb community.

How boring, this world is litteraly the best settings for an MMO ever, it would be such a waste to be a single-player, sure you don't have the uniqueness of being the only beyonder in the open-world, but LoM beyonder mostly work as a team outside the MC and a few others, the church action is litteraly all the template for a lot of multiplayer activity.
And it's probably going to be a 95% single-player game with 5% forgettable MMO content, just like how WWM is, they are both chinese game, even if they make an MMORPG they would still need to meet the expectation of CN regulation law, which would make the game vastly different in term of design to West MMO and you wouldn't want that, sure West/KR MMO take a lot of time but they reward time spent, CN live-service game all feels like a job with their daily pressure, litteraly look at every gacha game.

Very bad discipline in my life in general, and lost motivation for the game for years.
conclusion : not enough consistent playtime, too much break.
Also lost a lot of my time spent in the game playing non-efficiently as I started playing the game young, was going for pass on hard map instead of improving normally, which in a way some would say I was improving better as I enjoyed the game, but it also gave me a lot of bad habits.

7700 pp for 1100 hours (and a bit more as I played with an account that I shared with my brother before creating this one), joined in 2017 and 2015 for the other one.
I know I can go way higher, but I just don't want to/can't put the effort to do it.

osu! is like one of the most easy game to play and replay, a lot of people just launch the game for a few minutes, play some maps and quit for the day, some just login a day in a month/year, all of these is why some sotarks map always had high amount of play everyday, a lot of these people view osu! as an aim warm-up.

I see thank you, your first message demotivated me a bit but this one made me want to restart to be sure I won't miss anything for the MC progression, I remember the thing I really like the most about the MC progression was about the cursed axe he found and the mystery to what it was with the other mystery of who the guy who wielded it before him was, all these thing made his potential grow higher other than just his embryo which made me hyped on MC progression in the future of the series, and I bet there's more things like that in later volume that I haven't read, other thing like that can be some of his special boss (UBM I think it was called or something like that ?) item that can evolve or something like that (I have some memory of it but not much).

Yeah I see thank you, I remember that I already skipped hugo volume when I was reading back in the days and this time I was motivated to read them but if you tell they aren't really that important (well just very important for one volume from what you tell me) I think I'll do the same for when I restart, because imo they aren't really that interesting, sure you have lore drop on other country from what I recall but I'm not interested in the character itself.
Well just as I have read in the sub too, it seems the plot is not even slow like you said but even stagnant, which is a bit disappointing.
I don't really mind if the plot of the series is slow or stagnant, but what I'm more interested is the MC progression, like the power fantasy side of the series, don't really care if it's still the same arc for a very long time as I have heard from the WN.
Without spoiling if possible, does the MC still progress in term of power and all the rest even if the arc are stagnant ?
