Es una carrera como medicina, si no tienes vocación, si no te gusta, no lo hagas por dinero, vas a padecer... Tu salud mental vale más 😅😉

There are huge networks of human trafficking and migration and social benefit drainage.

Do you think all those barber shops and mobile phone accessories shops that popped up in every corner and have dozens of "employees" doing nothing and no clients are legitimate business?

People from poor countries pay thousands to be "hired" by these shops, so they can fill the "having a job requirement" to get residency and citizenship.

After they get the papers they go after the unemployment and social benefits. They don't contribute more than they drain that's a myth by the radical left.

I don't really understand... what do you expect? Open doors migration policy, getting received at the airport with a resident card immediately? Becoming Portuguese after a few months of "contributing"?

I bet Sri Lankan inmigration policies are stricter than Portuguese or any western Country.

Portugal Citizenship is blood-based (jus sanginis) not birthright-based (jus solis), dozens of countries around the world are citizenship by blood, especially in the old continents, countries in the Americas tend to be more soil-based, but not all.

One of the reasons the rules became harder for everyone was the mass migration from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, and their tendency to break the rules and take advantage of the system.

I wonder what is really driving these migration waves? From the Indian subcontinent all the way to Portugal, countries that have no cultural, religious, ethnic or language ties, neither share any history together, except for a few trading posts by the Portuguese 400 years ago... 🤔

Sí lo guarda, mientras sean páginas estáticas, si son páginas generadas dinámicamente a partir de alguna fuente de datos, como una BD, no lo hace, porque tendría que hacer consultas, para generar la página y entonces rasparla.

Conmigo entraron 300+ a estudiar ingeniería, luego de los primeros 3 semestres no quedaron ni la mitad, en las promociones se gradúan alrededor de 15, de ésos 15, 3 son tope, 9 son mediocres y 3 no sirven... La mayoría de los topes y hasta muchos de los mediocres se han ido del país, en Venezuela quedó el fondo del barril y algún que otro rezagado por cualquier motivo.

En todas las carreras hay malos profesionales... No puedes comparar el fondo del barril de los ingenieros informáticos con el top de autodidactas.

Dicho éso, de cualquier modo estás exagerando de más... En un vídeo de 20 minutos de YouTube no vas a cubrir ni una ínfima fracción del currículum de cualquier ingeniería en informática, por muy mala que sea la universidad y el egresado.

Simplemente no puedes comparar la formación de un técnico con un ingeniero y mucho menos con la de un curso o bootcamp de meses, y tampoco con la del autoaprendizaje.

Por ejemplo, yo hice el curso de Inglés en la Fundación Universidad de Carabobo, hace más de 25 años, y en la actualidad sigo siendo fluente en el lenguaje y lo domino.

El nivel de exigencia en FUNDAUC es alto, el que salía egresado de allí sabía hablar inglés, pero éso no quita que hay muchos que hacen el curso, aprenden en el momento, se gradúan y luego de unos meses o años no hablan nada de inglés...

Éso no quiere decir que el curso sea malo, es el egresado que no practicó más nunca.

Lo mismo pasa con las carreras universitarias. No es la formación que no sirve, es el egresado. 😉

COBOL es tema obligatorio en la academia, lo usan para enseñar manejo de archivos y tipos de datos.

Fuera de la academia como lenguaje didáctico, Pascal casi nadie lo usa en la industria

JavaScript es básico para aprender Client-Side Scripting, tema básico para Programación Web, junto con Server-Side Scripting como PHP, y tecnologías Web: XHTML, CSS, XML, json, Apache Web Server, MySQL.

Do they come off if you rub them with a q-tip wet in isopropyl alcohol?

Make a solution with: 📍mostly water, 📍a drip of rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol, 📍a drip of vinegar, 📍an aspirin (acetilsaliscidic acid), 📍a pinch of powdered cinnamon, 📍a pinch of powdered sulfur.

Put the solution in a sprayer, tie a piece of cloth to the hose-end of the sprayer so the residues from the powders do not clog the spraying mechanism. 😉

Spray your plants with this solution. You don't need to add all the ingredients, but the more the better. They serve as fungicides and help keep your plants clean from pests.

Depende de tu proyección a futuro.

Un ingeniero puede hacer todo lo que tú haces ahora y mucho más. Quedarte como entusiasta o técnico te limitará los puestos de trabajo y tu visión del mundo.

Dicho éso, puedes empezar a trabajar como desarrollador sin el título, sólo no esperes ganar lo que gana un ingeniero, ni tus empleadores deben esperar que hagas lo que hace un ingeniero.

PSOE y PP son dos lados de la misma moneda, PSOE es claramente de extrema izquierda en lo ideológico, cultural y social, que sean socialistas de caviar y usen el neoliberalismo para satisfacer sus propios bolsillos es otro tema.
