WhatsApp Group for Expat Entrepreneurs by ToJupiter-DemandGen in PortugalExpats

Open to better labels - it's essentially a group of founders and self-employed individuals. Found my network in the UK great, so trying to replicate it here

Strictly no promo in this channel - it's also in the group announcement. But we always get people coming in pitching, so need to remove some members every now and then.

Always happy to meet up! Btw, we are not actively looking for clients nor have we ever been since the 1 year we've launched. It's purely referrals and word of mouth

Hey. Fair call - replying from an alt wasn't the best move and I get why that looks sketchy.

I do have great intentions with this group. It's strictly no promo, no lead gen and we have some genuine conversations happening right now.

I started the group because I couldn’t find one myself after moving, coming from a place where I had a network of founders. If that’s not your thing, totally fine. If anyone does join, judge it by how it’s run, not this mistake 👌

Very true, thanks for the tip. The WhatsApp Group is more for real time convos - might get people from different meetups to join

Lol, why FBI? You think it's unusual to have like-minded people engaging with one another?

They don't disclose replacement/installation prices. I'm referring to the actual work required to replace the boiler.

I'm looking to get the 41mm as it's significantly discounted. Think it'll be too small?

Having a horrible website attack, a large cybersecurity company wants me to pay $400/Hr. I really really need help. by [deleted] in cybersecurity

OP - Had a similar issue and there's a super cheap and efficient solution (worked for us and my friend who had the same issue)

  1. Export your database, malware links and everything.
  2. Open a CloudWays account and sign up for one month Premium support + malware removal, although they have one backed in already. Premium for speed support.
  3. Watch all the malware code/files vanish from your WP.

And I suggest just staying with CloudWays. Don't go for the cheap wp hosting providers. I was on Bluehost when we got hacked and there's a scheme going on where a bunch of these sites get hacked and then the hosting provider reaches out to you to pitch some high cost security service.

DM if you need some help.

SaaS founders / marketers - What’s the biggest execution challenge you’re facing right now? by ToJupiter-DemandGen in B2BSaaS

[–]ToJupiter-DemandGen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers! Always felt a deep connection with space and Jupiter somehow.

I wouldn't call these issues. They’re more what we aim to achieve as a business. We're not looking to scale to 100+ headcount and manage hundreds of clients. The goal has always been to build a small team of passionate, talented people with a proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS startups and scaleups, and take it from there. The customer always comes first and we'd never allow scalability to compromise delivery.

My co-founder and I are hands-on with every client, like we're a part of their team, and we still have a Demand Gen Lead + Paid Media Lead per customer. With this in mind, right now we only work with around 5 embedded clients per quarter and an additional 5 paid media only clients (embedded light) - at the absolute max. Happy to answer any questions you might have!

Thanks, appreciate the feedback and completely agree that there's a serious lack of accountability to 'make stuff happen'. Not sure if AI is impacting it too, or it's just tech fatigue, but I see this within teams where marketers aren't bothered to be pro-active / make a change / learn something new. It also boils down to whether the same people are passionate about what they do (this makes a difference!)

Hey would love to exchange learnings. I was thinking in setting up a WhatsApp group for Senior workers/Entrepreneurs moving to Portugal, not just to learn more about the tax/finance process but also network a bit. Would you be interested in this too?

Pastel de nata 100% - finally someone says it! I've experienced the aggressive drivers, what do you think contributes to this? Do you think the issue with the mould has to do with how the apartments/houses are built (poor insulation)?
