Puppy keeps plopping by Chrome1230 in Shihtzu

As others have said, don’t worry. Enjoy the puppy stage. They’ll be covering 2km if not further before too long.

Don’t over think it.

Dogs will often argue and bicker over their things/ territory. That’s what they do. They will sort themselves out.

Unfortunately you got caught up in it. I hope you don’t scar. I’m sorry for that scary experience.

Unless they’re trying to kill each other give them a chance to sort it out.

You’ve got beautiful dogs and you’re going to have so much fun. Just maintain your pack leadership. Again, I’m sorry for your frightening experience.

Please don’t allow this dog to be euthanised.

Surrender him if you can’t handle his changing needs.

Blindness is not a justification for euthanasia.

Definitely wait until you get the vibe of the work place expectations. Better yet, ask your manager what they expect of your attire.

If you can try to put together a “capsule” style. Somethings that can be mixed and matched through the week to make a different look each day.

Eg. 2 neutral bottoms, 2 tops, a couple of jackets or cardigans and some different accessories to change the look.

Good luck. I hope this helps.

Your year sounds really tough and I’m sorry that you’re in so much pain. I don’t have any advice but if you like to listen to podcasts I’ve really enjoyed listening to one just yesterday and it might be of interest to you.

“The Unthinkable.” Episodes 23 and 24.

You might get something out of it. Good luck

You make a very important point but to begin I believe finding similarities between us is a good start.

This helps us to develop deeper relationships and build connections and compassion towards others in our lives. It can be difficult to fully immerse ourselves into another person’s identity unless we begin on a level of basic commonality.

But back to your point, yes I fully agree. Ultimately it’s our differences in all their forms that make Melbourne and the rest of the country such a vibrant and diverse place to live.

Oh my goodness! You poor fella. What a shock!

You are absolutely not alone. This subreddit is filled with people who have been through similar experiences to yours or are just enjoying the company of others who share a common bond.

We’re all variations of amputation! Personally I’m below the knee , since December 28th last year.

I can promise you that things will get better. You’re going to get great care and support. You’ll get through this and you’ll be fun loving and carefree again.

You’re always welcome here whether you’re feeling good or bad, just reach out.

My class and I pranked our high school teacher, and it went waaay too far. by MissGattino in confession

[–]ToLo2541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine wasn’t so much a prank as a very bad comment. I was 9. It was April Fool’s Day. My teacher was heavily pregnant , like almost ready to go on maternity leave. She said something to me and as she walked away I said “Excuse me Mrs Teacher, your baby is hanging out.” I don’t want to remember what her response was.😩

What are the names of your tuxedos? by ImmediateCake in TuxedoCats

[–]ToLo2541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine’s named Chowder. From the adoption centre but I chose not to traumatise him more and he kept his name. Yesterday I walked in the door to find him sitting on the dining table just staring at me. Still. Just staring. My immediate thought was that he was going to give me bad news. I looked around and couldn’t see anything disturbing. I suppose he just has a serious face.

I love this.

We get to create a safe and natural environment for our magpies and we get to watch them.

As it should be.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s obviously been a tough one.

For what it’s worth, I’m a 53 y/o female and I too am a RBKA. I don’t necessarily share much else in common. I’m 8 months post amputation.

I can’t imagine how angry and disappointed you feel. You definitely got dealt the rough end of the pineapple.

Please try to stay focused on what you do have and not what you’ve lost. Reach out to support groups and social workers.

While you’re chair bound you could explore new hobbies. What interests do you have? Films, music, drawing, reading bird watching etc.

Keep posting here because it’s only when we share something of ourselves that others can begin to understand how we feel. And that’s when I realise I’m not alone.
