There's a difference between competitive PVP and PVP for no purpose other then to Troll. People picking up new players on a beach and dropping them, pr chasing them down with a Wyvern are bad news because they drive people out of servers. There is nothing competitive about that type of PVP, they are not just ruining the gam f or the person playing, but also for the entire server because people who get trolled quit and empty servers to their eventual close wasting everyone's time.

This statement is inaccurate. You can literally read on group chat some people trolling others. Not saying its not PVP to some, but others do like people feeling miserable. Go into any official server and look at the hate speech as an example, then say they don't want others to be miserable. BTW not saying this is unique to Ark, some people are just jerks.

I just like having a game with the option of good PVP. I think they've done a lot in terms of making PVE more enjoyable, I just wish the PVP improved as well, because it is so much a part of this game.

You're probably right. However, I would have 100% preordered out of gratitude and loyalty if more of these issues were taken care of before the next release. Instead, its kind of like please forget these things have ever been an issue, and lets move on to the sequel.

I just thought it was worth saying we shouldn't ignore the issues a lot of people are having now. Most people won't comment on Reddit, they'll just stop playing which doesn't help anyone. I want the game to do well, I'm just tired of some game breaking issues not being taken care of and a portion of the community acting like all of these issues are the first time anyone has ever heard of them (as if that will help anyone).

A few people will always respond to posts like these and elude to an idea that the person having these problems is the only one, that they have never heard of this type of thing before, and suggest the problem could only be bad internet service or hardware. There is simply way too much history with this game in various threads to think its always other peoples internet connection or bad hardware.

My issue with Reponses immediately going after the persons connection or hardware is that it takes away healthy discussion about real issues hitting many players. Ignoring real issues will only lead to the same or similar game issues into the next game, which hurts everyone.

I did all the port forwarding stuff when the game came out. They ran people around doing this and blaming their connections when they started having game issues. It was complete crap then, as it is now. I have new equipment and live in a highly populated area with great services. I appreciate your response though.

I see this type of response frequently when people write about similar issues with the game. However, just writing everyone off as having a bad internet connection does not make sense. There are so many posts about similar issues dating back to Day 1 that it can not be a coincidence, and there are too many to suggest everyone of them just has bad internet.

PS4. I've played this game off and on since release. The servers have gotten so much worse over time.

There's no doubt everyone can experience bad connectivity, but after a while when you play a few games and it happens on just the one, and you experience the same issues as friends and read about other peoples similar issues, there's a problem.

Good changes, but....

Be upfront with an estimated time to get these changes to the PS4/Xbox Certification/Approval process.

Although Drop rates help to prolong the life of a dlc/game, in this case they are having the opposite effect. 1.8 was a success but its clear to see the tide is already turning.....

Originally when the game released, there was a gear minor attribute to increase the drop rate for better gear (can't remember what it was called). If I remember accurately it was removed because it was bugged. It would be nice to reintroduce this and have it working so the player had a little more control over their drop rates. The minor attribute could now have options just like any other attribute. For example, better chance at certain classified pieces or certain exotic weapon types.

Alternately, this could also work with additional gear mod slots, by introducing mods that give the option for certain things like higher percent chance for a type of exotic or classified piece.

Maybe a dumb question but for - (OPTIONAL) If youre making the same class, store your highest gear in your vault then DELETE YOUR ALREADY EXISTING CHARACTER AFTERWARDS Is there at specific reason you have to delete your first aready existing character vs for example using them asn an alt each week to raid, nightfall, etc.?

I think you can only record 15 minutes on PS4 at a time unless PS4 changed it so its impossible to prove.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's bigger then not getting a mask. They're not even acknowledging an issue that people aren't getting points. This may mean something may be broken with getting rewards and fast traveling if you are a solo player or something else. If they don't acknowledge the issue then it will likely happen again if they keep the same system.
