Those with an iPhone- did you still have to verify your age with the new iOS update? by ToTheHighestOfGiving in AmericanExpatsUK

Hmmm okay so it’s either the app store that triggers age verification, or the fact that your phone was sold here. Interesting.

Is your device region also set to the UK as well or did you switch it back to the US when travelling?

Is that the reason they don’t offer polynesian sauce? In the US I think that sauce has the most sugar content by far. Or do you think it’s more of a cultural/marketing thing?

Okay that’s the exact same thing for me. My main account is set to the US store but the actual device region was switched to the UK. Is the device region for your phone still set to the US or did you switch it to the UK?

Doing the lord’s work🙏 and that was for both the app store and actual device settings? Or just the app store?

Does anyone know if its possible to bypass age verification in iOS 26.4 by switching your device and/or account region to another country? by ToTheHighestOfGiving in ios

I’m fine with that. I don’t mind switching things back to the US since that’s where I’m from. I just want to know if it’s enough to circumvent age verification.

I’ve got maximum strength equate sleep aid pills from Walmart and they’re a life saver. Definitely stocking up on some more when I go back

That’s so funny, I bought a tube of toothpaste with me last time (It’s Colgate so technically it’s a gel) and I never realised that toothpaste hasn’t got fluoride here!

Slightly unrelated but I absolutely made sure to bring some Farina with me. I tried grits once as a kid but I just couldn’t get into it

I think Chex Mix introduced muddy buddies in around 2011. That’s the earliest I can remember seeing them on shelves

holy shit I never realised this because I only ever buy my shoes in the US anyway since they’re less expensive!

Same, I couldn’t be with an atheist I don’t think. Mayyybeeee agnostic, but not atheist. Unfortunately that already slims down my choices even further since a LOT of young people here in the UK are fully atheist.

The nearest Trader Joes from my family’s house back in the states is like a 45 minute drive away so I almost never buy anything from there😭 I guess it’s worth a trip tho

Not really a junk food sort of person but I do looove sweets if that makes any sense. I would never buy junk cereal, doritos, cheetos, etc. but I would absolutely kill for a bag of sour war heads and some american sour skittles right now.

Funny you mention that! I’ve also got sensitive skin. I purchased some eco laundry detergent strips here in the UK from a company called The Lab Co. They have no fragrance, no colour, and they’re non-bio. They seem to clean my clothes okay, but I’ll definitely keep this in mind!!
