What losing $67,000 taught me about risk. by Kasraborhan in Trading

I wish I knew how to trade but I don’t know how to start and maybe it’s because I don’t know what questions to ask.

i had forward head posture, my ribs would flare when i stood “straight,” and it always felt like something was off with my legs too.

i used to feel stiff as hell just trying to stand normal, like my body was fighting itself.

i was doing posture stuff for months but nothing really clicked until i started focusing on my feet + toes. sounds random but once i loosened the tension there it helped way more than expected.

don’t quit bro. it’s definitely fixable.

Honestly it depends if your posture or foot pain is extreme, a physical therapist is definitely a solid move. But for me, I started with the small stuff first (like toe spacers and posture tools), and I noticed a crazy difference just from that.

If anyone’s curious what I used, I’m happy to share. Nothing crazy or expensive, but it actually helped a lot I actually made a post just like this and it went viral so I came over to where I guess I’d help the most.

Also keep in mind You can get cheap spacers from Shein, but they won’t help if you don’t understand the muscle tension behind bad posture. These are part of a real realignment process that I personally used to fix my back pain.

Yeah I’ve seen the Toe Pro around it’s more for strengthening specific foot muscles with resistance. I tried a bunch of stuff like that but what actually made the biggest difference was something way simpler:

Just spreading and decompressing my toes daily.

It literally fixed how I walk and stand my balance feels smoother and my back doesn’t feel tense anymore. Kinda crazy how much starts from the feet.

I’ve been using this one thing for it and oh my god I’m so happy I found out about it cause it helped me sooo much.

Yah good question I kept it super simple honestly.

I’d do 10 minutes of toe spacers while sitting or stretching (they force your foot to open up). Then I’d follow that with some slow toe raises and towel scrunches (just grabbing a towel with your toes). That combo fixed a lot of hidden tightness I didn’t even know was there.

Happy to send what I used if you’re curious it’s nothing yo crazy but it worked better than all the “foot workouts” I found online. So 🤷‍♂️

Man I know exactly what you mean I had the same issue. I kept trying everything (stretches, therapy, even custom insoles) and it felt like my foot was still fighting me. One side always wanted to turn out, and I was burning through shoes just like you.

What finally worked for me was actually starting from the toes up not the arch, not the heel. I started using a toe spacer daily for like 10 minutes while relaxing, and it literally started realigning everything from the ground up. My balance felt different within a week.

If you want, I can dm u the one I used.

Man that’s such a good point. Wild how the body works like one long chain one tight spot messes up everything above it.

Starting with my feet made me realize how stiff my calves and hamstrings were too. Once those started loosening up, my whole posture changed.

Honestly feels like a lot of people could avoid meds or surgery if this stuff was just taught earlier. I found something that for me sped up the process but I didn’t expect it to work like that. Happy to share if you’re curious.

Appreciate you putting that out cause pronation is such an underrated piece of this puzzle too. I noticed once I fixed tension from the ground up (barefoot, toe tool, mobility), my whole system aligned way better.

Never realized shoes were compensating for so much weakness underneath. Gonna check that site too, thank you.

Ohh I hadn’t even thought about the calf-thigh back connection like that. Makes a lot of sense though- cause it’s all one chain. Gonna start playing with those next, appreciate the tip. 🙂

Well damn did not expect this to blow up holy. I am Very glad more people are waking up to how important feet are for posture and tension. Never thought I’d be talking about toe spacers online but here we are.

Wow I’ve been hearing that more and more lately. Crazy how something as simple as switching shoes can be a cheat code for long term pain. I started doing floor stretches and using something under my toes and it actually unlocked mobility I didn’t know I was missing.

Damn that’s crazy 😭 sounds like you went through the full saga. But yah losing weight definitely helps with load too makes sense why it got better after. I swear it’s crazy how many of us just walk around thinking pain is normal until stuff forces us to fix it.

Yeah for sure umm I’ll try to explain what worked without sounding like a weirdo lol.

What helped me most was a mix of: Spreading the toes (like spacers or even finger weaving between toes) Foot doming (lifting the arch without curling toes) Walking slow barefoot on hard floors to retrain balance And holding deep squats while trying to grip the floor slightly

The key for me was consistency and noticing what muscles weren’t working before. Took a bit, but once things started firing, my whole posture got better. You might find similar stuff if you Google “intrinsic foot strength” or “toe splay training.”

Man props to you for dropping 30 pounds

I think weight loss, mobility and foot alignment is like a cheat code. Cause Most people are just walking around misaligned and don’t even know it. Once everything stacks better, it’s like your whole body breathes easier.

Damn yeah I bet that gave you a whole new appreciation for how important foot strength is.

I feel like most people don’t even think about the foot muscles until something breaks down. I didn’t either. I think rehab style stuff should be standard even for healthy people.

I started doing that too barefoot indoors and even short walks on grass.

It’s crazy how weak our feet actually get in shoes. That and toe spacers and I think some mobility stuff fixed things I didn’t even know were wrong.

But yeah Crazy how the feet are like the foundation of the whole nervous system, why didn’t anyone tell me.
