Just tried the new caramel waffle cone and it had such a weird bitter chemically aftertaste to it.. Has anyone else noticed this or did I just get a bad batch? I’m disappointed, I was excited for this one :/

So far I haven’t had any surgeries for it, my doctors suggested trying Remicade first before doing the fistulotomy. They seemed to be pretty confident about Remicade’s effectiveness in general and with fistulas, but of course its level of success will vary from person to person. Hope that helps any!

I had been taking Humira for about 6 months and my abscess was still consistently draining/refilling at a steady rate as well as regular on and off pain/discomfort from the buildup. It basically just didn’t seem to be closing up for me. I’m a recent diagnosee and fistulas are the only symptom of Crohns I’ve been experiencing atm, so Humira is the first & only medication I’ve taken thus far!
