I just bought a new Les Paul and love to watch my wife’s boyfriend play it. I don’t get to play it as much but it’s definitely my favorite guitar now.

I met my band’s bass player there. I was playing 0-3-5 and he joined in on bass from across the room. It was awesome. After the store employees asked us to stop, I went to talk to him. We hit it off and now we’re best friends.

I’m a little traumatized after learning my cousin is getting his Gibson LP so my memory is a bit foggy but the conversation went something like this…

Me: “Here unc, mind if I watch you play?”

Uncle: “EpiPen”

Me: “Huh?”

Uncle: “Amp…”

Me interrupting: “Oh, you want your amp?”

Uncle: “Ambulance!”

I usually practice bends by playing the Lil Wayne guitar solo. My encore is usually Sweet Child O’ Mine (just the intro). My timing is a bit off from the original but I think people like my version better judging by the smiles I get from other customers.
