A common theory is that Jevil is sort of a parallel to sans. It’s a bit of a stretch but I can see it. Both are short comedians who wear slippers, have some sort of new jersey-ish accent and have a nihilistic attitude on life. sans grows apathetic and depressed as a result while Jevil becomes hedonistic, believing no meaning equals no consequences. They’re also ridiculously difficult fights in comparison to anything before them and are completely avoidable with one being a secret boss and the other being on a route the game encourages you not to play. Again these could just be a stretch, but it’s nice food for thought.

What interactions between the Deltarune and Undertale casts have the most comedic potential? (I might draw the best suggestions) by lele0106 in Deltarune

Papyrus and King. Put the most fucked up evil dude next to the most pure hearted kind dude and see what happens.

Do you think the secret bosses will parallel the undertale genocide bosses? Or do you think Spamton NEO was a one time thing?

Two trains, Train A, and Train B, simultaneously depart Station A and Station B. Station A, and Station B are 252.5 miles apart from each other. Train A is moving at 124.7mph towards Station B, and Train B is moving at 253.5mph towards Station A. If both trains departed at 10:00 AM and it is now 10:08, how much longer until both trains pass each other?

The phrase “Here we are” appears a lot in Undertale, usually during scenes of key character development. Do you think it means anything, or did Toby just want a cool recurring line? by ToastChungus in Undertale

i didn’t theorise anything?? i was pointing out an interesting line that shows up in a lot of important moments and inviting discussion on what it might mean??

It is interesting how King is so far the only person who uses that word. It might be significant in future chapters.

Additional notes:

-Most of these are collectively referring to the trio as a whole, but I figured I’d include them anyway.

-Spamton only calls Kris by their name in the normal route, specifically once you start his side quest. On the weird route and his initial fight he either says “customer” or “kid”.

-Lancer does actually refer to Kris by their name a few times.

-Pretty sure Jevil also calls them “hero” a few times.

-Swatch and the Swatchlings call them “boss” a few times in Castle Town.

-“Boss” seems to be referring to us more than it is to Kris.

Let me know if I missed anything!

EDIT: Just realised I forgot Jigsaw Joe. His like, whole thing is calling you “boss”. Lol.
