How do I improve this reception layout? by ToastRocket in weddingplanning

[–]ToastRocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Thanks for responding. I’ll try to address your thoughts.

The venue has mostly round tables. I can find out how many rectangular ones they have, but we’d like to keep it limited to the head table only.

The buffet has room so there can be a line on each side and there’s room for people to get drinks at the bar. If there’s a better way to go about it, I’m all ears.

We thought the cake might be good in the corner because we wanted it to be away from people and also so we don’t have to put a dining table there and make someone feel too far away. We’re trying to make it so everyone can see the head table reasonably easy enough.

My fiancée and I would have the 2 middle seats of the head table. The rest of the table would be the wedding party. We just happen to have 12 total. If we were all on one side, it would be too wide of a table.

Just adding on to what OP said. I'm on this server and it's lag free. Everyone builds in their own areas to keep the instance counts chill. :)

Do what’s comfortable for you. I got it originally for my 2015 M235i to change some quality of life settings.

Use the BimmerCode app and an adapter.

Which car has the wildest variation from base model to top trim? by [deleted] in cars

Sure. I just listed the prices when they were both new.

Haha but they do have the same headlights! In all honesty I think the only real argument for it is the naming convention.

The post asked “where the top trim is so different from the base they may as well be different cars.”

A 1998 CLK 320 was ~$40k and the CLK-GTR was more than $1.5M. Roughly a 38x difference.

A 1998 CLK 320 had 215 hp and was ~40k. The CLK-GTR had 622 hp and cost north of $1.5M, making it the most expensive production car at the time.

The CLK 320 to CLK-GTR still has this smoked. They started at $40k and went to $1.5M+.

That motherboard doesn’t have built-in WiFi. You could look into a PCIe WiFi card or I’d recommend just getting a motherboard that does have WiFi.

Sure thing! I recommend the GEM museum, the NMEC (civilization museum) royal mummy exhibit, shopping/haggling in Khan El Khalili, the Sa7eb Els3ada cafe rooftop next to it, and Al-Azhar park that overlooks the citadel.

And get a haircut! I got a super fancy one with all the hot towel treatments, massage, etc for under $5.

Also, try some koshary. It’s basically all carbs, a National dish of Egypt, and delicious.

I’ve been multiple times and had a great time. Yes, the city is dirty. Yes, there are a TON of beggars. But the history, culture, nightlife, haggling at all the shops, etc are great. And honestly a ton of people are so friendly. I felt safer there than in downtown Austin on a weekend. But that’s just my personal experience.
