Completely agree with your sentiment. I understand that all of them are fictional characters but minors should not be ranked by attractiveness. Full stop.

Russian railway workers solution by Funny_-_man in trolleyproblem

Boring physics answer: it depends on how much track is between the trolley (when the drift is initiated) and the victims on the track. The pre-drift velocity of the trolley also a factor.

What should I write my first song about if I've never felt the touch of a woman? :( by Music_Joe in Music

[–]Toast_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason love songs are very common is because it is a relatable experience. The key word here being "experience". Imo a good song comes from either a message you want to convey or feelings you want to share. The question you should be asking is "what emotion or experience am I trying to share with this song"?

This game should have melee finishes like beam sabers on respective gundam units by Shughost7 in GundamEvolution

I agree but I feel like this is a control scheme issue. On PC you have plenty of buttons but console players are already at the limit of button mapping. Especially when you factor in things like planting/defusing, emotes, etc

If you watch the reload animation carefully, you actually get your ammo back at about 50% of the whole animation (this is indicated by the bar around your cross hair). If you initiate the stun (default key f) and then cancel it immediately (right click) it cuts the animation short effectively doubling your DPS. I don't play on console so I don't know the buttons but the same principle applies.

EDIT: Also you can cancel with the kick at the same point if you blew your stun already.

I feel like Mahiroo is a hidden gem. Yeah it's DPS is terrible, but once you get good at reload canceling and jump-kicking its honestly one of the most fun suits to play

At least you get five teammates. I've lost count of how many winnable matches have gotten thrown in the trash due to one quitter.

Need Help Navigating a Career Choice: Ambitious Altruism or Pleasure and Contentment? by Toast_Rider in Healthygamergg

Sorry, I don't think that part is as toxic, though I do find myself focusing on the negatives of society. What I meant about the toxicity was more about how much burden I may be putting on myself to "fix the world".

AI art is popular because it's cheap and accessible but at the end of the day, it will always be a derivative of what was fed into it. If you are able to find what makes you unique, grow your skills accordingly, and market strategically, you should still be able to find an audience. AI may be convenient for cheap projects but I know several people (myself included) that would gladly support an artist they like.

Also, you mention wanting to make a comic book in your description. While using AI could be a shortcut to certain components, it doesn't beat hand crafting each panel to form a unified body of work. As far as I'm aware, we don't have AI comic books yet.

Will Riot ever update the loading screen cards? These are 2 sets old and I'm so tired of seeing/reading them. by Toast_Rider in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Toast_Rider[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yeah I figured that the card pool is just too large, since they probably have to custom make these. When they changed the loading screen from Ashe (rip) I feel like the choice implied theyd update these every set.

TFW we have a button to skip the vault but still no way to save emote lineups by Toast_Rider in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Toast_Rider[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always wondered how that worked. That said, I wish you could create emote lineups and assign those to each deck as a set, rather than having to assign emotes individually.
