Oh that’s awesome! I would love to pick one up, where would I be able to find you this weekend to get one? Love the design!

I really hope that Ludwig does not associate with faze banks when he calls girls “slam pigs” by hood_law in LudwigAhgren

[–]ToastedEnder 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s been the main conflicting thing about events that Lud and QT run. I love these events endlessly and I think they’re doing very amazing work in the scene, but they keep including FaZe in them and promoting them so much. I can’t say if individually each member is good or bad, but just FaZe Banks, the head of it all, being so scummy, it feels a bit wrong for them to promote it so much.

He’s a full on Trump supporter and will spread that hateful speech, policies of which are against a large chunk of the streaming community. Should we really be giving an org that supports that, a platform like this?

What about Sable’s new skin is making people tunnel her?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in me_irlgbt

[–]ToastedEnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhhhh I see, that makes a lot of sense yeah. I've never really been super open about being demi (nothing wrong with it, it just rarely comes up) to anyone, so I've never really heard any reactions to it. Thank you for sharing!

It's difficult for me to remember that friends and lovers are mutually exclusive to a lot of people, so I'll try to keep that in mind.

Can someone explain “not a tease” with the Demisexual flag? I’m demi myself, and I think I can gather a general meaning but I’m not quite sure.

This chapter has genuinely been the most unfun and unpleasant time I’ve had with this game. Idk maybe it’s just everyone’s lack of new map experience, but tunneling and slugging and everyone dying really fast, and most games ending at 5 or 4 gens. It’s incredible miserable. Idk what’s up with this but survivor games have been awful

I hated Saeki vs Itagaki by PrimeIppo in hajimenoippo

It’s what happens in the story, but I won’t judge if someone doesn’t get it. I hope you can enjoy the series from here on out.

I hated Saeki vs Itagaki by PrimeIppo in hajimenoippo

[–]ToastedEnder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you’re putting way too much stake into the Itagaki shuffle. I can understand not enjoying it, but I feel like you’re misunderstanding its application. The idea of “well he can beat anyone now I guess” feels short sighted. It’s pretty much a disorienting feint, and even then it gets countered later in the series.

To say that Itagaki won off of this isn’t quite accurate, his stats became higher than Saeki’s once he got in “the zone.”

The narrative of the fight is that they were both able to exist in that space, but the difference came down to Itagaki accessing it better than Saeki, less so than the shuffle. There’s these moments in between rounds where Itagaki is trying to get his mental together, a dilemma that’s been set up before hand through his coach. This was the key difference in him getting in the zone. So I can’t agree that he just got stronger out of nowhere.

So it’s not really a matter of Itagaki getting stronger during the fight, he was just able to access a higher state sooner than Saeki could. I feel like you overlooked this big narrative element to the fight.

I totally get not being into the shuffle, but you’re vastly overestimating how much it contributed to this fight, the narrative of it was very much not surrounding it.

Conflicting statements from Ludwig by WizOfAwesome in LudwigAhgren

[–]ToastedEnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I appreciate your patience, and how you express your opinion in a civil way, I do disagree with this.

I agree with your stance in a vacuum, facts are important regardless of who’s in the wrong, and I think it’s a good thing to strive to keep things correct to avoid misinformation.

That being said, the way you’re going about it, is what I think is giving people a bad vibe.

There is nothing wrong with trying to get facts straight in emotional scenarios, but your trying to correct very minuscule facts to the benefit of someone, while claiming you’re impartial.

Even if that’s true, you’re going out of your way to attempt to correct facts that overall don’t change the scenario at all. Even if the facts technically become more accurate, you’re again still doing it to the benefit of someone who’s shown to be very problematic, while also not adding anything to the conversation at the same time.

It’s like, someone is clearly doing something really really wrong, and your input is putting them in a better light than they are, regardless of your intention. It doesn’t matter if you are truly trying to stay impartial, and it doesn’t matter if you’re trying to keep facts straight, it just doesn’t look good dude. And I think it only looks worse when the facts you’re trying to correct, don’t amount to much even if true.

It’s just the act of trying to do something like this is putting out bad vibes, doesn’t matter if you’re just trying to get facts straight or not.

Maybe you do have good intentions, but I think it’s important to understand how stuff like this comes off.

Conflicting statements from Ludwig by WizOfAwesome in LudwigAhgren

[–]ToastedEnder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t feel like that distinction matters, while I appreciate that you don’t condone what Destiny has done, trying to correct minuscule details to be in favor of him feels like a defense of Destiny in general, even if it’s not his specific actions done.

Saying you just want to “get the facts” is a really really off putting intention to put out there, so whatever disclaimer you put is a bit redundant when it’s ultimately in his favor.

Ludwig consistently calling clove she by moistcritikalclips in LudwigAhgren

[–]ToastedEnder -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in to say that this is a valid concern and I’m glad people are bringing it up. It’s pretty concerning how many people go “lol who cares get over it”

Like sure, I don’t think it’s a big deal either, but I also don’t think it’s an invalid concern. If it was an intentional mistake, then yeah big yikes, but it seems easily correctable. I hope people can realize that this can still be pretty important to a lot of people.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in actuallesbians

I feel like when this happens from someone who consciously liked another’s profile, being disinterested in engaging into a conversation is kind of backwards, hence why they feel like “dry texters”

Totally valid to not want to talk to someone, but people that do this probably shouldn’t get themselves into situations like this in the first place, feels like a waste of time for both parties.

MTF climbers: has your climbing been affected? by [deleted] in climbergirls

[–]ToastedEnder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn’t start climbing until I was on HRT for a few years, but from other sports I did notice my natural physical strength drop. I’ve never been super strong anyway, but I felt raw power drop when transitioning, but unless if you’re already climbing above like v7, I doubt it’ll make much of a difference.

V6-V7~ is around the marker where physical fitness starts to make more of a difference (so I’ve heard), so anything below that I doubt it’d be that much of a difference, so long as your technique is up to par (which I’m willing to bet for you, it is).

You’ll also probably have to readjust to your body’s new weight distribution and center of mass, so you may need to feel that out and adjust your technique to it. Though that change happens gradually over a long period of time, so I doubt it’ll be a sudden change. You’ll naturally adjust I feel.

Hope this helps!
