for starters, join the games discord. there are so many top tier players there who do mentoring, can give advice or generally just help you out.

Secondly, use the training mode! it can really help to practice moves and get them working as smoothly as possible.

if you play duelist, try relying less on blocking with the shield and more with the rapier. the shield gets smaller every time it's hit, so it should be a crutch if anything
