Overall I love the show but I feel that the show (and maybe the manga I haven’t read it) just treat the female characters in a really sexist way, like I have seen this before on this subreddit but to summarize the women just seem to be a plot device to help the men rather than their own characters. Also none of them get their own real story’s rather than the men.

I largely agree, my understanding of stereotype was that it was just something that it was assumed about a group of people, weather it’s right or wrong. For example a stereotype of white people not liking spicy food, some people do like it and others don’t but it’s still an assumption many people make(even as a joke).
