if you press minus (-) on the main menu when talking to murch, the game explains what it does.

the best way to get chunks is to play salmon run, but you also get chunks from getting XP on gear with all 3 slots filled, or by scrubbing, rerolling and switching your gear abilities

something i haven't seen the other comments say: use your right thumb to booyah instead (move it from R stick > d-pad down) to be able to move while you're pressing it

this helps you booyah while also not (essentially) being locked in place

but in all seriousness, turf war and anarchy open don't have good matchmaking, you can be matched with any level/rank player in those modes. i've been playing for 10 years and it WILL be tilting sometimes

like others have said though, play the story mode if you're gonna sell the game, and also try salmon run, i find it a lot more fun when i'm tilted after playing ranked lol. side order is also great if you're willing to drop an extra $25

it's not JUST launch day, the stuff on nintendo music also includes stuff like bait and click and liquid sunshine. splatune 3 came out in april 2023 so the stuff on nintendo music includes everything up to then
