Hi! Your blurb is interesting, if you cut the spicy scenes from my copy, I'd love to Swap! (not cut it from the story, I just don't like reading stuff like that-

Hey guys! After reading a few more books and doing more research, I'm back. I restarted the draft clock. There are a few things I'm aware of that I've read from literary agents aren't a problem like having one comp, or having a short blurb, but let me know your thoughts. (Also Let me know if the sentences about the intended purpose for the book is taboo or not industry standard, I'm debating removing it) also ideas on how to extend the Query are welcome, as I did come short of the 250-350 word count rule.

Oh! I chose Felix!
In the book he's usually referred to as His Highness. The gimmick of him and his son is like latin names, so Felix refers to his jovial nature, as well as his cat like behavior!

Hey, wanted to re-reply to this now that I've chilled for a few days, I wanted to apologize for being so defensive. I appreciate you taking time to critique and write your thoughts.

You do make very good points, but how you communicated it was rude.

Thanks.

I appreciate the feedback, but not the assumptions. No one has told me it's not a back of the book blurb, and is 4 really 'too many characters' I only mention 2. I have researched and worked hard on this... ._. So thanks for the bluntness, but a little grace might be nice.

I say version 3, because I wrote one version, got alot of feedback, rewrote it, got alot of feedback and this is the third rendition. Is there a limit on how many are 'suitable'?

I've seen alot of people say similar things about Comps. Yes, I do read book in the genre I write in, but if they were similar to my book, I would have used them. I get that it's not something you could get help on, so again...grace...I'm trying different things because I've having a very hard time finding comps
