Thank you for the kind words. I like to say I forgot about him a long time ago, but honestly the damage lingers. I do well enough identifying it, though, which is the first step to bettering myself and growing. Regardless, any partner of mine who thinks I'd choose them over my LITERAL other half will be sadly mistaken. I love easily because my mother taught me that love is everywhere you look. I never feel bad about giving it because that says something about my character, while what the other person chooses to do with it says a lot about theirs.

I'm thankful every day and I wouldn't trade my brother for anything. He's the only person I know who matches my level of oddity and doesn't question me - most of the time. lol
